The film's production took almost 2 years, BIG Pictures and Adlabs jointly produced the film and the total budget of the film hit a whopping Rs.23 crores. Finally, the movie released on December 12th, 2009.
On the whole, Saleem is a message oriented thriller which has its moments. Exciting second half and a engaging climax are basic plus points. While technically sound, the film has certain memorable moments.

Anukshanam (2014)
Anukshanam - Crime Thriller Movie
"Gowtam (Vishnu Manchu) is an ACP. A taxi driver is on rampage and starts killing beautiful women. As the rate at which the taxi driver tortures and kills his victims increases, there is lot of panic in the city and a lot of pressure on Gowtam to nab the serial killer. A US returned psychologist (Revathi) helps Gowtam to analyze the behavior and pattern of killing of serial killer. Meanwhile, killers enjoys the attention he is getting on TV. Rest of the story is all about how Gowtam traces down the serial killer and arrests him. Anukshanam is a watered down version of everything you expect from a slasher film, which explores the mind of a serial killer. It's also incredibly loud and monotonous in its approach; however, a gripping screenplay and short run time saves it from being downright silly. By the end you feel like you are watching completely different movie. Ram Gopal Varma tries to showcase his research on Psycho serial killers, and provide us possible indications about them (Extreme anti-social, Tendency towards to Voyeurism, Dominance from early age, Killing Animals, No remorse or regrets). Vishnu Manchu carries off his role as a serious cop quite well, although there are moments where a little amount of subtlety would have helped. "
Dynamite (2015)
Dynamite - Thriller Movie
"Vishnu has of late toned down his huge frame and he fits the part perfectly. Though he is a digital media professional, his character uses more of brain and muscles instead of technology. Though his performance is not really up to the mark, he pulls off stunts beautifully. On the other hand, Praneetha does little than walking around in mini- skirts. JD Chakravarthy gets to play the villain and he does his part well and with ease. Nagineedu in a brief role makes his presence felt. Usually, the norm is that in films that Vishnu produces, the technical values are high. "
