Maximum Overdrive Review
2 March 2006
Warning: Spoilers
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS REVIEW CONTAINS A SPIOLER!!!

In 1980 the Earth went through the tail of mysterious comet. For 3 days Earth's machines, Trucks, cars, electronics and planes become living things and tried to enslave Earth. A group of people were trapped at the Dixie Boy Truck Stop in West Virginia and battled their way to freedom.

In my opinion this movie was the most amazing thing I have ever seen, and it should be because it came from the mind of Stephen King. The AC/DC soundtrack, the crazy trucks, the actors were all perfect.

Sure the movie techincally sucked. Half the time you were looking right at the camera men and crews through the reflection of a truck bumper and the effects sucked and the acting was questionable. But if you are looking for an entertaining, exciting and suspenseful movie to enjoy this is your best bet. If you are looking for something to complain about please go away. Who in their right mind doesn't like trucks, car crashes and good suspense?

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002 Video Game)
An amazing legacy
11 November 2005
Grand Theft Auto is not only an amazing game it is more... It is a work of art.

It is the best game I have ever played. The entire series of Grand Theft Auto is an amazing trilogy. But, Vice City is the best of them all. I have not completed Vice City, being stuck on the last mission. I highly recommend Grand Theft Auto Vice City.

You play as Tommy Vercetti (this video game is based on Scarface, and Tommy Vercetti is based on Tony Montana) a criminal just released from prison. He previously worked for Sonny Forelli of the Forelli family. Tommy is set up with a drug deal and during the deal they are ambushed and Tommy is abandoned in Vice City. You then have to fight your way and take revenge on Sonny.

Grand Theft Auto III (2001 Video Game)
One of the best..
10 November 2005
Grand Theft Auto 3 is best described by one word: Liberty. The story takes place in Liberty City ( based on New York city). The game series Grand Theft Auto is amazing because of its freedom or Liberty. You can do anything you want. Murder, rob, steal cars (or Grand Theft Auto), do missions, heck' you can even work as a cab driver, policeman, fireman or ambulance driver. It is basically an amazing game. I would highly recommend it.

You play as the "silent" (he doesn't say a single word through the hole story) character Claude (you find out his name in the 6th installment in the Grand Theft Auto series). You are shot by your girlfriend Catalina and are arrested. You and your pal "8-Ball" breaks out with another man while on a prisoner transport and during the break-out the people who rescue you blow-up the Callahan Bridge connecting Portland

with Staunton Island. You than have to battle your way across Liberty City to take revenge on backstabbing Catalina. Even if you need to kill and steal to do it. I also recommend Grand Theft Auto Vice City (the 4th Grand Theft Auto). Oh, and here is a neat little easter-egg.

Grand Theft Auto Cameos

GTA3:

On the subway in Francis International Airport, there is a poster titled: Pirates in Men's Pants Casino, "Prepare to have a pant of a time! and there is also a pic of a pirate flag with underwear on it. Well in GTA San Andreas, there is a casino in Las Venturas called Pirates in Men's Pants and you can rent a room in it!

GTA3-VC:

1): In GTA3, You meet characters Misty and Donald Love (you do some missions for Love) well in Vice City, there is a mission called "The Shootist" where you are challenged to a shooting range contest and in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, you have to shoot moving, cardboard images of Misty and Love!

2): If you remember, Vice City takes place in the 80's and 3 takes place in 2001. Well Donald Love is seen in numerous missions in both. More in Liberty then Vice. In GTA3, you do missions for him and he is owner of "Love Media" which owns every radio station except Double Clef FM and Flashback 98.3 FM. Before Donald became so huge in business in Liberty, he was writing notes for Avery Carrington (Burt Reynolds) in Vice City in the 80's!

3) And do ya wanna know where Maria from Liberty was before she moved there? She was a waitress in Caligula's Casino in Las Venturas, San Andreas!

GTA3-SA

4): In GTA San Andreas, in some mission where you have to race a bunch of dudes in sports cars in the Badlands near Catalina's house. One of the "dudes" is Claude from 3, the man you play as. So Cluade after you beat him moved to Liberty City with Catalina who later betrays him and then you play as him in 3. And in San Andreas, Claude and Carl made a little wager. I forget what would happen if he won, but if Carl won (which you have to so you will win the mission), Claude would have to give you his car-repair shop in San Fiero. And when CJ finds out it was just a load of junk he calls Claude a "Snake without a tung" and a "Silent ****".

GTA3-SA

5): Before Catalina moved to Liberty, she was living in a log-house in the woods with her Buffalo sports car. Well she is related to Carl's best friend, Caeser. And you end up doing missions for her. They were actually known as the robbery missions. Well, anyway, Catalina falls in love with you and actually even ties you down and has sex with you!

White Noise (I) (2005)

Very good thriller.
10 November 2005
This movie was very entertaining, but it is the kind of movie you would never care to see again. Very good thriller though and I would suggest renting it. It is not a scare-you-to-death horror movie. But it is very interesting. There is some extremely tense parts and some very "shock you out of your socks" parts. Over-all it was a good movie.

The story line is very decent, but lacks the simplicity that horror-movies need.

I would classify it as a thriller/suspense not horror. It is VERY complex and,I would have to admit, I was even a little confused. I think it wise to watch it in quite. Because it is sometimes hard to catch some parts of it.
