The Last of Us: Long, Long Time (2023)
Dont believe this episodes low rating!
People have viciously review bombed this episode, giving it (at this current point in time) an 8.3 in comparison to ep 1 and 2 standing between the low 9s. This episode was by far the most enjoyable and beautiful, it is the only episode that I have rewatched over and over again because Im in love with everything about it - the script, the casting, the structure, the score etc. Sadly, this wave of 1star reviewing is a cold and brutal reminder of the ever existing prejudice and hate to LGBTIAQ+ in todays world. As well as this, the episode isnt a "token filler" as some may argue, it fits thematically with exactly what Druckmann and Mazin wants to portray - The Last of Us is fundamentally about love and humanity above anything else, and that despite all the disaster and ruin, theres still something to fight for. It is a brilliant episode and it deserves this 10 star rating.
Outer Banks (2020)
Started off okay but kept getting worse
I'm 15 and I'm really not understanding the hype that it's been getting around the social media platforms. Admittedly, I was hooked in the first episode or two, but eventually I lost interest. It was too bland and really predictable. I lost the sense of action and tension watching it, I lost sympathy for some of the characters because they were too robotic, and if I'm being honest, I was rooting for Topper the entire time, scr*w John B. My sister loved it, so maybe I'm being too judgemental, but I just believe that there was really nothing special about it - an easy skip. I haven't watched it in a while but when i think of it all that comes into my head was how boring and ridiculous it was. I'm not saying it's totally unwatchable, it's just not something I would want to rewatch. It'll be okay to see during quarantine with some time on your hands.
Satsuriku no Tenshi (2018)
Absolutely love!
I really do love the character development of the main characters Rachel and Zach, seeing their bond overtime is truly amazing.
Stranger Things (2016)
LOVE!!
I just love the 80's vibe it gives. It's so well done... the kids are amazing, so much pure talent.
