Glass Onion (2022)
MEH...
It's not a smart, complex mystery like many reviews are alluding to. Just a fun? Whodunnit with some questionable acting throughout, aside from Daniel Craig. It's really a shame because I thought the first movie was actually quite good. The fact that this movie currently has a 93% on rotten tomatoes is laughable, though. I don't know who played Andi/Helen but her acting here does not make me wish to seek out other projects she's been involved in, but I can't imagine they're worse than this. This is NOT a movie I would recommend you sit down and devote an evening to, it would be wasteful. Instead maybe save it to watch on a plane flight so if you land early you won't care to find out how it ends.
La casa de papel (2017)
Soap opera disguised as action series
Not sure how this series has an 8.3 rating. If you want to have something on in the background while you're working then this will surely do, other than that I wouldn't waste my time. It's just a bunch of done before action movie shticks combined together with a lot of drama in between. Some of the unrealistic scenes and English dubbing will make you laugh if that's what you're looking for. Would've been a 4 but Ursula Corbero gives it a boost.
Schitt$ Creek (2015)
Not a bad show
Used to watch Schitt's Creek while I ate breakfast in the morning. Found it funny/awkward enough to keep my attention but I could check my emails and not really miss anything too important. First 3 seasons were solid but after that about 80% of the show is about David and Patrick's relationship zzzzzzz. Would recommend as an entertaining way to pass the time or to have on in the background.
