What About Bob? (1991)
What About Bog
He keeps following him around literally everywhere, his bedroom at night, the toilet, you name it.... this A%$#hole just won't go away, kind of like an insect, a fly possibly.
The scene at the ice cream factory is hysterical, i couldn't stop laughing even though i've seen it 10 times now.
Everything bob does is funny even though he's a prick.
This situation drives Dr Leo Marvin so insane that he resorts to suicide just to get the F#@$ away from bob which is pretty much understandable (so would you probably if you had this kind of moron following you about everywhere).
You must see this film it is beyond a joke!!
Shrek (2001)
Good film.... no honestly....
This is a good movie, the chemistry between the two main actors (shrek & donkey) is something to behold & i also think that shrek has a great future ahead of him in the movie business if he continues to perform like that. I story line was top notch of course as steven king is a great, great writer of horror. Shrek is a cunning foe, playing mind games on donkey; left, right & centre..., you just can not predict what old shreko will do next! The twist is phenomenal where shrek turns out to be a toilet cleaner & a damned bad one at that, i thought he was the head of the FBI or something with that kind of flare for deception!
Escape from L.A. (1996)
Cuervo Indiana Jones
....Percure's the microfilm from the evil president trump after his daughter Ivanka Trump run's off with the super-villain Jones & in the process has put the entire known universe in jeopardy!! Trump's top general jame's maddis call's on the services of the one man in the world who knows what the order of rules are in crisis that one should follow, having learned this from his great mentor julius benedict. Luckily (again) they have just captured the snake who is not in the best of mood's again & basically is forced to undertake this monumental task all by himself - & to top it off, stacey keach is not his biggest fan!
& this farce of a film that is merely a thinly guised parody of the original, continues to pretend that it's a serious one until the very end. If it were open about how it was a parody rather than a sneaky sly snake parody then it could of at least been a lot funnier. Instead the lying critics who know fine well how cynical this movie is, try to force feed you the notion that is all just bad acting/unintentional humour & in short want to treat the viewer like their an idiot who can't tell that this is an insult; to those that happen to be a fan of the very good original (who this movie is pretty much mostly targeted at) - it's a blatant 'ha ha ha' with a middle finger raised at you on the part of john carpenter (The A ss-F ucker)
The Colbert Report (2005)
Delightful
I had absolutely no clue what to expect from this show. Comedy central has a way of releasing show's that look just splendid & then disappointing me.
But the Colbert Report is a cracking good laugh, just absurd & definitely worth my motherfucking time.
It's a parody of show's like the O'Reilly Factor. It has a host (Daily Show veteran Stephen Colbert) whose persona is very self important & self centered. His name is on everything, all over the set and the desk is shaped like a giant C (stand's for C.unt Colbert, he remind's us!)
The show primarily consist of Stephen (The C.unt) Colbert, in his daily show persona, sitting at a desk and giving his opinions on thing's. It's all done in the spirit of satire, parodying popular journalism and the tendency of people who despite having no expertise at all; never the less get a lot of camera time (not unlike Stephen C.unt Colbert), despite the fact that their opinion's are basically worthless (not unlike C.unt Colbert).
All in all the show is very schitt and very gay. I think Stephen Colbert is an incredible investment for Comedy Central.
