We Own the Night (2007)
So, this is what movies feel like...
That was a brave movie, going deep. With nothing annoyingly loud, it has a complete story, with actors that serve it perfectly and with a direction that makes you get off your seat with its realistic boldness. It explores the most important and determinant emotions (love, anger, arrogance, loyalty, jealousy, guilt) and conditions: how anyone acts when feeling edgy, when being tested by the turnovers of luck, when decisions must be made. How that affects the people around, the members of the family, friends, partners. It' s been 3 days since I saw it and it hasn' t left my mind yet.
Jusqu'ici tout va bien (2019)
Really worth your time!
Well, it's a comedy that really made me laugh and I appreciate that. You also get to see relations formed between people from different or same backrounds, which touched me. Lellouche plays his role perfectly. Overall, see it, when you don't feel well, when you want to have fun, alone or with company. It' ll serve you right!
Rebelles (2019)
I loved this movie!
It's very funny and very special. It has its own way of story-telling, very unique, like nothing I' ve seen before. Really don't get the low raitings. It's very well acted, the dialogues are intriguing, the direction captivating. For what it is, this movie serves its purpose perfectly. Really looking forward for other movies of the same director.
Nous finirons ensemble (2019)
C' etait vraiment genial!!!!!!!!!!
That was a great movie, I really don' t get the low ratings. Very well acted, great story, deep and funny at the same time. Much better than the first, you get the sense that these people do exist and everyone will find some characteristics to identify with. Great work! Go for it!
