It's great but not good
11 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I mean, don't get me wrong, this film has poor acting and poor special effects, but for an indie film, it's not that bad to watch.

I get that Neil Breen has a vision in mind of what he wants for his film, like story, characters etc, but it is executed so poorly. I bet if Breen had more of an advanced budget and had hired professional actors on the side, this film wouldn't be as bad.

I do, however, praise Breen for making a 1 hour and 40 minute movie with no less than $1 million (I assume it's budget was like that or maybe less, idk) and it totally beats whatever the hell The Asylum makes anyday, with it's poor CGI and so forth.

I think that, out of all the actors, I think David Silva as Jim is genuinely trying his best to act. Neil is just, well, Neil.

Overall, it's a good film to watch, but nowhere near Hollywood material.

Tis but a scratch
1 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The very first Python thing I have ever watched, instantly lived it.

Literally, every single scene is so quotable and iconic that you can just literally quote the whole film from the top of your head, if you have watched it many many times.

The line up of characters also make this a perfect film:

  • Chapman as King Arthur, the straight faced king who literally faces everything silly and wants to put a stop to it, much like The Colonel.

  • Cleese as Sir Lancelot (or Launcelot), the vicious knight who is braver than Sir Robin and willing to stab everything and everyone, literally.

  • Gilliam as Patsy, The King's servant. But I think we all remember Gilliam as the animator who suddenly has a heart attack.

  • Idle as Sir Robin the Not-quite-so-brave-as-Sir-Launcelot who had nearly fought the Dragon of Agnor, who had nearly stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol and who had personally wet himself at the Battle of Badon Hill.

  • Jones as Sir Bedevere, the hopeless knight. Even more hopeless than Sir Robin!

  • Palin as Sir Galahad, the handsome knight whose favourite colour is Yellow and NOT blue.

The King of Sketch Comedy
1 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Absolutely funny, no doubt about it. Chapman, Cleese, Gilliam, Idle, Palin and Jones are absolutely perfect. Very funny, very Iconic.

Not only did this show completely ditched the punchlines of jokes and other rules sketch comedy shows before it followed, it introduced a new style of comedy; Pythonesque.

Their style of humour is literally so advance that not even God and Jesus could think of something so humorous.

Why am I so enthusiastic about Python? That is because I'm locked in shed, strapped to an electric chair, watching Monty Python. I need help!

(PS: On a serious note, I really do love anything Python)

I dont hate it but its bad
2 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I mean, I dont hate the movie itself but everything was just plain out bad like the tsunami hitting the ship or the ship exploding. Also, the CGI sucks like where did the money go to making this film. I only thing I liked about the movie is the iceberg moving towards the Titanic II but everything else, including the bad acting, is completely bad.
