When quantum entanglement goes bad !

Would have made a better series with 4/5 episodes rather than 8 !

Some interesting ideas and themes around parallel universes, string theory , quantum entanglement and time loops , but the husband and child of Johanna / Naoomi Rapace were just plain annoying and both only had one acting style and limited vocabulary!

Watched till the end but mainly on fast forward during the last two episodes and it became very repetitive even though showing multiple timelines and scenarios!

I'm giving it a solid 5 for the Sci - fi and that's all !

Some simple trainIng in computer anti fraud and scamming and all this ........

Some simple training in how to thwart and or ignore computer scammers and all this violence could have been avoided !

Then again what fun would that be...reminded me of Mel Gibson in Payback mixed with. American greed and Wall Street.meets Dirty Money !

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (2023– )

Overall a good series though why France and not the UK which would have been much more interesting!

It's Walking Dead in a France so expect lots of emotions a love affair or two , religious faith and Zombies full of acid ( probably all the wine in their French digestive systems fermented weirdly now they are Zombies ! )

Though I did enjoy the apocalypse French style and the Eiffel Tower with its top missing !

Everyone managed to know and speak English after meeting Daryl which was lucky as whenever I've been to France the locals never can or do !

Anyway 7/10 is a fair score and pushed 1 point higher by the shock endings which I'm not going to say anything about on here

Why oh why oh why oh why is always someone in a coma ?

I'm reviewing this whilst still watching as this had all the ingredients to be something good , a great hospital location , some passable acting and 1/4 of a ok story, but it lost its way and just kept going and going and going !

Ok it's ended now , he was in a coma ( as we guessed all along ) and with a little guidance from the old man ( Virgil ) he makes a choice to live rather than stay in the coma hospital and die at the same time trying to take the little girl with him ( yes there's a little girl ) out onto the rooftop and into the light !

The rest is as they say biology and I take it he and the little girl made a full recoveries!

I wished for Lost to come back after watching this !

Imagine the scene ....10 of the most lazy writers to even darken a script , ok let's have 2 different people who get angry for little or no reason this week , plus let's add a drug addict , a weird old guy , a creepy kid , someone who gets pregnant , a lesbian couple , a Chinese family , let's not bother with script or story development ...sorted ...see you next week !

A good apocalypse movie ruined by a terrible plot

Just because it's based on a book with a silly plot doesn't mean the movie has to be !

I gave this 3 stars as I enjoyed the apocalyptic events coming true, but the question that never got explained , why were the three people in the cabin selected to be sacrificed to save the world ? Seemed like an obvious question to me !

All the ingredients for a great supernatural tv show were here but badly let down by a poorly written plodding plot with a bunch of stupid characters who did stupid things or got angry or had an argument about every 5 minutes in a effort to make the show seem exciting .....but it didn't !

Ps , I quite liked the music playing in episode 3 ( watching as I type !) 48 minutes in.

Upsetting subject matter but a hell of a film !

Solid acting performances from all but upsetting subject matter so be aware before you start watching as though a slow burner you will be hooked till the end as I was !

Top marks to the director also who has learned the skills of the masters well .

Not wanting to leave any spoilers it has an incredible build up at the end and will make your heart pound as the last minutes of the film play out

End of episode 6 as I type this and now it's getting quite spooky and strange so giving it 7 stars up from my original 6 and looking forward to the last two episodes which I hope don't disappoint !

The whole premise of this movie is that the kidnapped wife ( who was very loving shy timid and nervous in the back plot ) would go with an almost complete stranger in a car to get a non existent receipt for work supposedly done on her parents roof that she wouldn't have really known about, or that the kidnapper would on an off chance kidnap the wife in broad daylight and that no one would see though it was caught on camera and that she would know about their roof works as she was only staying with them as a break from home and the hubby whilst deciding to get divorced or not , plus that the garage assistant was involved the whole time as he knew the wife had been kidnapped by a drugs baron cos that's what they do to bring attention to themselves plus luckily their drugs den was only just through the woods after the husband abandoned his car and ran away after being stopped by the police for speeding and was caught with the kidnapper in his trunk which was .......you get the idea !

So called. Comedy movie made by 14 year olds for 12 year olds !

Movie died the moment 'Jack Trainer' did !

So called comedy movie with very few good laughs seemed as though it was made by 14 year olds for 12 year olds and noticeable drop in writing quality from about 30 mins in !

For once the 30s and 40s are filmed in bright beautiful colour in this film, the acting was so so apart from irons as chamberlain but after seeing McKay's only acting face ..one of surprise fifty times I became bored , plus again nobody managed to assassinate Hitler though so many wanted to !

Ok WW2 inaccuracies from beginning to end but an enjoyable B movie romp with great special effects and spooky atmosphere !

Just one inaccuracy I can't forgive is witches wearing (polyester) chiffon that wasn't invented until the late 1950's ?!!!

Slow, really slow , but thought I would just follow the stories and people I liked and fast forward the rest but by half way through episode 3 there were none left !

Dear screenwriters of America stop writing the same old drivel we have seen a hundred times before with the same cliched characters and plot lines that are either stupid and / or boring !

The first thirty minutes had some genuine Bond movie moments but then bond developed a bunch of lovey dovey emotions linked to a ridiculous mother and child kidnapping plot topped with mawkish sentimentality ruined this movie for me ?

Apocalypse set in a School so you get a chance to see people killed with Javelins , Sulphuric Acid ( Conc ), School Ties , Bunsen Burners , Library Books etc which makes a nice change !

Storyline could have been better if it followed the book the Forever War by Joe Haldeman but a half decent sci-fi filmed helped by a huge budget and some good actors !

Why bother writing a new plot script or storyline just copy all the other SAW movies plus throw in the main elements of Serpico and Training day mix up in a big bucket and serve with a good helping of gore !

So a solid 6/10 for their cheek !
