Rachel...HOW COULD YOU?!

Deceit, narcissism, best friends and unrequited love sum up this movie which I've loved for years. It gives me the happy fuzzies at the end. If I want to feel all the feels I watch this movie.

Woke pandering Ronny
7 May 2022
This just wasn't funny. Woke Ronny pandering to the ideological left makes my ass cringe. Anti-vaxxer jokes - especially at this point in time of the pandemic, fall flat. I can't even finish it. Go home to see your mom Ronny, you have to be relevant to be cancelled.

The cast was all wrong

I love Lily Collins and Simon Pegg who I feel are good actors - just not in this movie. Perhaps it was the writing? Casting was way off and the story was not believable... I found myself annoyed with every single character.

Does Hollywood always have to take a side?
8 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Robert Pattinson was everything as Batman. A depressed introvert with some emo hair, haha! But seriously, he brought a dark introverted side of Batman that we haven't fully had between Keaton, Kilmer, And Bale. I love that it calls out the political corruption (which it always had) but now it really resonates with what we've been waking up to. I was so disappointed when they played the "white privilege" - like, why? Do we really need to cross that line rather than enjoy this all together without calling out white people? I also noticed the riddler followers screen names "Anon" (QAnon) and "Hold the line" (which I think refers to the conservative Wall Street Bets subreddit, I could be wrong, I don't know much about QAnon) and I have to ask the same question - why?!? I just don't think those will age well...crazy exists on both sides of the political spectrum...pointing out one side only adds to the division. I would give this a 9 if those two factors weren't added in. But go see it if you haven't. Pattinson and Kravitz don't disappoint.

Oh, and Colin Farrel was in this? HE WAS UNRECOGNIZABLE!

Interesting post apocalyptic story

As an animal lover I found myself stressed about the dog for the most of the movie. I usually lose interest pretty quickly but this kept my attention. Not really and uplifting film but not all movies have to be.

Joy Behar...ew.
20 October 2021
Some good laughs in this film...just not when Joy Behar cackles in it. It's definitely something you can watch with your significant other, probably not with your kids, in-laws or parents.
