It's highly overrated

I don't get the 7,6/10 here. It's super slow paced and one episode could do in thirty minutes at max. Better 20-25min.

The whole scenery is completely implausible. Before the caravan-family arrived, everybody got along? How? And after "things" started...

I mean, it's really boring and some scenes can be skipped without missing anything.

And the whole "woodpeople"/zombie theme is so overused.

I am sorry. This series is nothing but a noise in the background for me. Neither was I "thrilled" nor on "suspense". It' just is a series that wanted to be but never delivered.

It's a miracle that I made it through season 1. I am sorry for people who find this nice.

I hope they are done after I saw they made a second season. Wrap it up in two-four more episodes and move on.

The Traitors (2023– )

After having seen AUS and UK version....

.... I have to admit, that the UK version was the best. The AUS version was new and exciting but fell flat. Therefore I rated it 7/10. It was entertaining and very modern. But it wasn't 10 out of 10. The outcome was disappointing and the characters were not as charming as those of the UK version.

The UK version was awesome. The characters were likable and the editing was superb. You really were "involved" in that series. But it's still a reality, so it was an eight of ten (8/10) even though, IMDB users rated it higher. But I can understand that. And the outcome was surprising. Go watch that!

The US version... Well, what can I say? It's americanized and therefore it looks like a bunch of people that "live" in a castle and have the usual drama (producers choice?) with loud people and super dramatic music even if a leaf falls off of a tree... "inside voice!!!!"

besides that, the Scotish host is a "very disgruntled pelican who doesn't know how to fold the cheese"... Doesn't fit at all. It would be better to have an "Alexis".

And on top of that all, the "challenges" are mostly the same as in the UK version.

Only Murders in the Building (2021– )

First season 8/10, second season 3/10

So all in all it's a 5 out of 10.

I was looking forwards to Season Two but it was stretchy and boring and kept on dragging. I watched the first five episodes over the course of three days and I was just "Be done." So I skipped all the other episodes (six, seven, eight and nine) and watched episode ten. That was enough to get it wrapped up without having the feeling you missed something.

Besides Selena Gomez being a snooze fest, throwing other stars to a lame story (for season two) doesn't work. The budget should have gone two story writing and a six episode final season.

Be gone murders. Leave my building.

Abominable and the Invisible City (2022–2023)

Maybe not having seen the OG movie...

I might should have. Being raised on not so much CGI, it is okay-ish.

The plot is still very weak and I left the series after 8 episodes. It was getting tedious with the forced jokes. And it was repetitive. There was the bird, the Koi (carp/fish), some weird odd balls that produced sugar, a grumpy pregnant Armadillo... And that's it. Should have been just 5 episodes.

Something you learned from it, which was very helpful, don't milk a cow who is almost dead.

It's really boring and nothing new. So it's another failed children's series... Out of so many. At least it serves as background noise...

The Midnight Club (2022)

It gets boring after episode 4...

Sorry, I really wanted to like that but that show could have been good if it was just 30min per episode. It was an ordeal to sit through the rest.

The stories didn't add much to the plot and where basically a childrens' "good night stories"... Like in that 90s show where a skeleton in a basement talks about "spooky skits"...

Although the tone and the atmosphere is quite eery, the rest of the series isn't. It's another miss on what could have been good.

Oh Netflix, you never fail to disappoint. Here's another reminder of that.

You should have let the kids die in the 5th episode and not kill the audience.

Surfside Girls (2022)

With actually normal people going through that. Not some rich people who wine and dine in some BS superficial restaurants. "Why won't anybody think of the millionaires?"

It's a nice concept. But who wanna watch that shallow "let's go spend 1000,00 currencies on a night club; I can't anymore with my apartment; I could easily buy everything... I am devastated..."

JFC. Make shows for the actual audience not a boring show for inflight entertainment on a private jet...

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin (2022– )

As stupid as the other ones

I cannot understand how this will be successful. In any way.

It's like the original PLL (which had gotten boring during season 3 and I skipped it) where after a bazillion of seasons (each 24 episodes or more to milk the cow) the killer is some random guy we saw in those three episodes and no one remembers him. Probably the manager from the cinema or a bystander or a teacher... or some crap.

4/10 out of good will.

Boo, Bitch (2022)

I am super confused. And sometimes they are behaving like 10yo, then like super cute teens and than the language of a 30yo.

The story is equally confusing. A girl is a ghost is not a ghost get's to to one last "earthly" thing, mix and match with the supercool kids and the most weirdos ever...

It's all super confusing. And you have some edibles before.

Maggie (2022)

Started very weak...

Had like the peak at episode 4 and fell flat again. Should have been just 8 episodes.

Although the people gain more and more of an arch, but it's too overdone. Either ridicule them or put them in a strong character. But some wishy-washy of it both doesn't work.

So, one season is enough. Thanks for what it was. Let's move on. And never speak about it again.

God's Favorite Idiot (2022– )

I am sorry. This show is only good for background noise but it's certainly not refreshing and/or funny. The characters have no arch and are kind of annoying.

Get a grip, at least we type-cast. Even if acting is not 10/10, at least some people can relate. And don't come with that "woke" shit. We are woke.

It's a solid series for the shit we usually produce.

Love on the Spectrum U.S. (2022– )

It is unbelievable sweet...

Like the original.

It's decently portrayed without mocking or shaming anybody. And it's raising awareness for autism.

It's so unbelievable sweet and heart-warming, it really soften your heart. And it's a reminder that you will never know the whole story of someone's behaviour.

Shining Vale (2022–2023)

The series is promising. It's quirky and "Monica"esque. Enough so, to keep me hooked.

Probably the husband has something to do with it and killed the child when he was little... And the 50s gal was his mom or so. Might be wrong, might be right. But in the end it's light and enjoyable after the first three episodes.

Ghosts (2021– )

A poorly done knock-off...

Sorry, but I have no words. I thought the US would spin it in a different way but they copied it almost 1:1 and that in a very bad way.

The original "Ghosts" (2019) British version is very good and well and wittily written.

This version - oh boy - it's a very bad knock-off.

3 stars only because it made me rewatch the original (British) first season, although I have recently watched the third season.

I really like a redo of a show (like "Shameless") not a knock-off. Please be cancelled.

Cinderella (I) (2021)

Currently on the first episode of season ten which I started at 3pm. It's now 7:30pm and it just serves as background noise.

... but it's really bad...

While I was watching the first three episodes with full attention, I was doing laundry and some other chores around the house while "watching" the other episodes.

The series is like you have absolutely to do something to meet a deadline and instead you start brushing that little teapots way back in the cupboard or start painting a perfectly white wall. It seems more important at that time.

Boy, did I waste some time on that here.

Please be cancelled.

And it's nice. It's a whole new category and it's like watching a podcast/audioplay. The trippy visuals (like those from windows media player) match the conversations.

The content is somewhat predictable.

So in conclusion, just download the audio and listen to the stories. There's actually no need to "watch" a podcast/radio piece/audioplay.

Ginny & Georgia (2021– )

What is up with you? "Woke" is now as bad as "nazi"? Get a grip on reality. Jesus effing Christ.

That's a perfect match here with "Gilmore Girls", "Desperate Housewives", "Good Behaviour" and "Good Girls".

It's an awesome show. And think of that, it's the first season. It might not be ripe at all, but is has a good potential!

So get your sticks out of your *** and comment on quality or give honest critiques.

Tribes of Europa (2021)

Only two episodes in an my major critique is the abnoxious music and the dialogues. As a German, I can confirm that absolutely nobody speaks like that. It's stilted and has like old-timey vibes. If that's the year 2079 and we speak like 1840, please shoot me.

Otherwise, it reminds me of "Dragon Prince", a little "the 100" and very little of "Lord of the Rings".

That's being said, it's not a waste of time. Although, I have 4 episodes to go.

It'a not like "Dark" good, but it will find its audience, me included.

Firefly Lane (2021–2023)

It is good, but a big BUT...

I cannot stand Kathereine Heigl. She is the Sandra Bullock of Sarah Jessica Parker's Jennifer Anistons...

Storywise, it's okay and an easy watch. Light and not very deep. Characters are okay but at some points too many jumps between timelines. On the other hand, sone dialogues are stretched out to the way you wonder, "Get to the point!"

All in all, 7/10 with a good intent.
