Sing 2 (2021)

Best Illumination Sequel since Despicable Me 2
17 January 2022
Illumination sequels (in my opinion), aren't usually that good and are just there to exist for everyone/anyone to enjoy but Sing 2 was such a hit and this buzz hasn't happened since their last hit sequel "Despicable Me 2". I must confess that tears fell out of my eyes.

If Cartoon Network produced a sitcom...
30 November 2021
I mean, it is from Warner Bros Television so that explains why it gave me that impression after the Pilot. Like most sitcoms today, I enjoy the diversity and I can see this being relatable to teachers and honor/AP students. Even if you don't check any of those boxes (Like I definitely don't as I wouldn't be here writing this review if I were), it's still a good watch if you're a Screen Junkie, Open to watch a new show, or just a sitcom lover.

A future classic
25 November 2021
I'll definitely be watching this heartwarming and bittersweet every Holiday Season just like how I watch Elf, Home Alone 1&2, The Polar Express, and Noelle (2019) every year. 8-Bit Christmas is added to that roster of classic Holiday films. It had a positive message which was to always appreciate what you have and work hard for that one thing you really want in life.

Finally watched the pilot (4 years late)
14 October 2021
I do have to say that this was missed opportunity for amazon prime. The storyline was really good and I'm disappointed that it was never picked up for a full season while it had so much potential. I wish they can redo this series by reworking the script a bit and recasting.

One thing I love about it
8 October 2021
They showcase that not everyone in California is is living "The California Dream" which is actually just a marketing slogan if you're a California resident.

The Best Thing To Ever Happen
30 September 2021
Finally watched this show and it seriously blew me away. For once, I feel something inside of my heart and I'm usually a negative and stubborn person. It made me happy and I smiled through all 9 episodes. That's saying something because when it comes to rating a show and movie on a scale from 1-10, I strictly rate them and I gave this a 10.

Loved the conclusion, wasn't a fan of the entire movie
14 August 2021
I was very satisfied of how they ended the movie. No I'm not saying that because the movie series is over, but because of the decision she made (I don't want to spoil the movie). It wasn't as predictable as I thought it would and if you've watched Movies 1 and 2, you definitely have to watch 3 to find out how the movie closes.

Couldn't get my attention
20 April 2021
I wanted to like this show so bad but the issue was how slow and drawn out it was. It's hard to understand the entire storyline.

Great movie for families
13 March 2021
I would give it a ten star if it was for adults too but the movie tended to be more in the kids side. That's the bad thing but the good things are that it's enjoyable, fun, and it's the type of movie that you can watch anytime whether it's a movie night double feature or watching during the day. Kind of a mix of Instant Family and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Fay.

A halloween movie full of cameos but still is acceptable and hilarious
9 October 2020
So I noticed the film had a whole lot of cameos but that's not an issue at all because I was familiar with most of the actors that made cameos. China Anne McClain (who worked with Adam Sandler on Grown Ups 1 and 2), Kelli Berglund, Kevin Quinn, Peyton List from Netflix's Cobra Kai, Stranger Things' Noah Schnaap, Alexa & Katie's Paris Berelc, and so much more. It is hilarious, a fun movie to watch for the family, and most of all. It has everything for everyone.

Deserves a sequel off the book
22 July 2020
Best thing I have watched this year and nothing I can say but their performances really blew me away. So many amazing plot twist as it is a Crime/Mystery miniseries. I just can't believe the ending that I wish they can go off the book and extending it into a sequel miniseries like "Defending Jacob 2". Overall, I would love a second season.

Unoriginal and Cliché
18 July 2020
Well, nothing I can say since it is Entertainment Studios first animated feature but that the story is very generic and reminds me of a past animated movie I have seen but will not name. The characters are bland like im watching an animated series. It is a fun little movie for kids, that's for sure and I do hope that their future animated films become much more original and better in terms of animation and story.

I'm now satisfied with the ending
7 July 2020
This is how you close a franchise. I mean, a lot of shows have those emotional "the end"'s. We know it's goodbye but it shouldn't always be emotional. You should be happy that you watched the series from the beginning to the very end.

People that are hating on the direct spin off are making themselves dislike it
2 July 2020
Even though Jace Norman is not in the series, he is involved in the project as a Producer while this series is a way for them to be able to expand the danger-verse in a whole different perspective. Why 10 stars? Because of the diversity and representation such as having a gender fluid character and two black characters which make the show so diverse like how Henry Danger was. The writers are definitely on top of things in terms of getting a good storyline and being able to find similar ideas that makes Danger Force the same as Henry Danger but different. We also have easter eggs like when they briefly mentioned The Thundermans on an episode.

Not the same as Friendship is Magic
22 June 2020
After the series ended, we get this downgrade. It's best to just leave it alone with the story already closed. To look at it the other way, it has potential to at least be as entertaining as Equestria Girls.

They know what they're doing with this show
19 June 2020
To be real, not everybody goes to summer camp every year, therefore, people come and go in summer camps if you've actually experience or observed one. This is a summer camp show so they can easily write off and on characters to the show making it an anthology series. On top of that, the show does share a universe with the older disney channel shows due to it sharing a universe with "Jessie (2011-2015)". I hope they keep this show ongoing.

A let down that it had a terrible run in theaters
7 April 2020
Due to COVID-19, it was pulled out from theaters after a week or two bringing it to Digital and available on Disney+ April 3. I'm glad that I got to experience it in theaters before it was pulled I loved the huge message of the film that just like a parent, your siblings will always be by your side no matter what even though they seem to not show it nor care as much but deep inside, they care for you while you secretly care for them and love them. Disney is definitely not new at this type of storyline so it works so well. Before Ian & Barley, it's Anna & Elsa while before, it was Lilo & Nani.

Proves that Nickelodeon is more diverse than ever
1 April 2020
It's very unique and rare to have a Nickelodeon show with an all black cast and I'm proud that Tyler Perry worked with Nickelodeon to do this. Most shows usually just has that one black character for diversity. I love how this is so Tyler Perry with the jokes that are toned down for the network compared to this other sitcoms and films. Overall, I just love it because I can tell they have put a lot of work into it just to make it work for a network like Nickelodeon.

Deserved a Sequel
26 March 2020
I remember watching this limited series last year on Disney Channel and it was entertaining and pretty good for a Disney series made for children. It really was better off as a limited series with 8 episodes with the continuous plot wanting more while they obviously had a really good budget. I do know that they won't bring it back with a second season as they already passed on the project.
