Elvis (2022)
Not Hanks at his best
Never really an Elvis fan but gave it a watch. Know it's a biopic but didn't like Tom Hanks character and felt they could have concentrated more on other things. The music speaks for itself.
Jurassic World Dominion (2022)
Don't know why everyone is slating it
After having watched this I don't know what the situation is with so many negative reviews. A thoroughly enjoyable film and there were similarities with the other films but it was great to see the main actors from both trilogies join together.
It would be interesting to see if another trilogy transpires as there is life left in the franchise.
For those who gave it poor reviews, :IT'S JURASSIC PARK/WORLD GET OVER IT AND STOP BEING SO NEGATIVE.
The Outlaws: Episode #2.1 (2022)
The best series on telly. Period
So glad this is back and going to binge watch the whole series. Thank you bbc. Wonderful writing and brilliant cast. Heard Stephen Merchant is working on writing more adventures for these characters and hope the BBC gives the green light and comissions more series. Simply excellent.
The Outlaws: Episode #1.6 (2021)
Wonderful series
This whole series as been excellent from start to finish with excellent writing and the perfect cast. Series 2 can't come around quick enough. One of the best things in recent years and Christopher Walken was a revelation.
Vigil: Episode #1.1 (2021)
Gripping
What a first episode, leaves you on the edge of your seat wanting more.
Line of Duty: Episode #6.6 (2021)
BBC PLEASE RENEW INDEFINITELY
For those who give low ratings do they not appreciate a series established as this with such a track record. The writing is excellent and the cast exceptional. 13 million viewers can't be wrong and there are so many different ways the series could go. Everyone may have their ideas but let's see what happens next Sunday.
Hopefully soon after we will hear it's been renewed for at least 2 more series.
This is one of the jewels in the BBC Crown.
Death in Paradise: Music to My Ears (2021)
Excellent
An excellent first parter to the 10 anniversary and faultless. Love the programme and the characters and the continuity of when cast members change. Whoever comes in brings their own take and personality to the character they play. Ralf Little is a combination of the three before him and he is coming into his own.
Death in Paradise: Pilot of the Airwaves (2021)
A feel good factor when you need it
So happy to have this back and Ralf is a very similar character to Ben when he was in it, albeit his allergies. The series is so successful because it does what it says on the tin and in these hard times it's so good to see it back. Might have to binge watch them on i player although I own all previous 9 series on dvd. Long may it continue for another 10 series. Excellent writing and casting.
Dolittle (2020)
Critics are shortsighted and only judge a book by its cover
Undoubtedly the film won't win any awards but what it lacks in that it more than makes up for entertainment and a take on the original. The effects are good and there's plenty of funny moments. Well worth a watch and a welcome addition to my 4k collection
The Mallorca Files (2019)
Love this series
A refreshing series which gets better every episode. Similar in some respects to death in paradise. The chemistry between the two leading actors is good and the scenery is great. Good story lines and hope it continues for a long time.
Worzel Gummidge (2019)
Well worth watching
I remember the original from years ago and it bought back memories. The casting was good and although a simple story it's very enjoyable and entertaining. Mackenzie Crook makes a good worzel and it would be nice for the BBC to explore making a series of it as it's different from some of the things on telly today.
Gavin & Stacey: A Special Christmas (2019)
Welcome back
What an excellent episode and a welcome catch up since the last series. It's like everything fitted like a glove despite some people's opinions about the karaoke scene. It shows you can't please everyone but just take it with a pinch of salt and forget it. It's calling out for another series but it's all down to Ruth and James but with the overnight ratings I hope they seriously consider it and the BBC do what the 11 million who watched it and pull out all the stops

A Christmas Carol (2019)
Different angle
This is a very interesting take on a classic story and I think it does it justice. The bit with Marley in purgatory was something different and added to the story. It's been done many times before but not like this so the writers deserve praise for making this.
Seven Worlds One Planet: Africa (2019)
An exceptional series
This whole series has been totally exceptional and is sir David at his absolute best. The camera footage is mind blowing and you are left in awe. The whole series sends out a serious warning about the change of climate and I hope governments and world leaders will take notice before we sign our own death sentence for our future generations. This is a serious issue now and the BBC and sir David deserve nothing but the highest praise.
Seven Worlds One Planet: South America (2019)
Better and better
This series gets better and better and the filming and photography is out of this world and you can do nothing but praise the crew in getting the footage they do. Add to this Sir David's commentary and you have a pure blend of nature at it's best. I will be buying the boxset once it comes out. So informative and you wonder how the BBC can top this.
Seven Worlds One Planet: Asia (2019)
Time for leaders to listen
As always from sir David a wonderful informative episode and beautifully filmed. When are world leaders going to wake up and smell the coffee (Trump especially). Most of them are dinosaurs and don't care about future generations as they will be dead and gone and won't see what they are accountable for. Stop destroying forests and look for alternatives. Looking forward to the next episodes because how it's filmed is jaw dropping.
Not Going Out: Ding Dong Merrily on Live (2018)
Still as funny as ever
Enjoyed this episode and hope there are loads more series to come so please bbc recomission this. Loved the bit how they incorporated what Corbyn said in parliament the other day. Best comedy series on telly.
Lethal Weapon (2016)
Dead in the water
I used to love this show so much but how can you have a lethal weapon without Riggs. Clayne was excellent and made the show what it was. Having read his take on things I feel sorry for how he was treated. The show won't be a success without him and it will lose viewers. Fox need to change the title of the show as it's injustice to the films. I wonder what Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are thinking.
