Better Call Saul: Nippy (2022)
A breath of fresh air?
This is definitely the slowest episode of season 6 so far. After catching up to the point where most viewers became familiar with the storyline, the focus shifts entirely to Gene in the present day. While this will inevitably lead to closure for the character, it makes the pace feel stagnant at times compared to what we've seen from S6 so far. The drawn out montages of Cinnabon creation and consumption also feel like commercials at times and make me wonder how big their check to AMC was. Looking forward to seeing how it all ends up playing out from here.
Castlevania: The Harvest (2020)
Holy...
This is the wildest episode of tv I've ever seen and in the best way possible
Shingeki no Kyojin: Assault (2021)
UNREAL!!
Seriously one of the most insane anime episodes of all time. God tier animation and soundtrack.
Shingeki no Kyojin: The War Hammer Titan (2021)
Exceeded expectations
As a manga reader I was excited to see how MAPPA would handle this scene and I can now say that they did so beautifully! The soundtrack is truly on another level and the animation was fantastic for the most part! I can't wait for next week's episode.
Shingeki no Kyojin: Declaration of War (2021)
That's what I'm talking about!
Masterfully crafted tension buildup and a truly fantastic episode.
Shingeki no Kyojin: The Other Side of the Sea (2020)
Amazing opening episode!
This is the best that it gets! I'd very excited for what mappa has in store for the rest of the season.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 14: The Tragedy (2020)
That's what I'm talking about!
Definitely one of the most packed episodes to date. I'm in love with the new style of Star Wars that this show has explored and I am very curious as to how they're going to end this season. Great stuff from Jon Favreau and Robert Rodriguez!
The Mandalorian: Chapter 13: The Jedi (2020)
Too soft
Not even the Clone Wars, the PG kids tv show was this soft when it comes to violence. The fighting is way too slow pace for a show that has had some pretty amazing action sequences in the past. That being said, it was cool to see Ahsoka in live action form and I think they did a good job. There could be a definite improvement upon the pacing of the action sequences as I almost found myself bored watching a lightsaber duel. Side characters need to have more weight and backstory around them as well. It has happened almost every episode where a new face is thrown in for 2 seconds and the audience is expected to sympathize with them and react to their actions as if we'd been with them the whole show.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 10: The Passenger (2020)
Impressive
These visual effects are way too good to be a tv show I can't believe it. It does feel like a side episode but is necessary for the story. Genuinely excited for what is yet to come!
The Mandalorian: Chapter 9: The Marshal (2020)
A decent start of the Season
The opening episode of Season 2 had some cool moments and world building but it blows my mind how bad some of the acting is from the side characters. It was a major gripe I had with last season and it appears to return. Even though it does detract from the episode overall, everything else about it is fantastic.
The Invisible Man (2020)
Fantastic film
There are many people on here trying to bring down the overall score with 1 star reviews, instead of giving an honest review of their experience with the movie. This ignorant and blatant weaponization of audience scores is childish and detracts from the reality of the film. It has fantastic acting, writing, and it is packed to the brim with tension that will have you on the edge of your seat. It is a fantastic thriller that is not as politically motivated as many would like to have potential viewers believe. There are very few movies that deserve a 1 star rating out there and I can assure everyone that this one does not deserve the hate that it is given.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 3: The Sin (2019)
Best episode so far
This episode was bigger and better than the previous two while retaining a genuinely interesting story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
