It is such a great movie. Has a great representation of Dominicans and Haitians. A smart use of the Romeo and Juliet love story. Shows the divide between the two cultures. Its a similar story but with accurate presentation of both cultures in a modern day setting. The writing is cleaver, to pull characters with such traumatized histories between the two cultures pasts and form a love to move on and be free. Genius move to make the location Miami.
