So Help Me Todd (2022)
Genuinely one of the best show in recent years
Truly a great new lighthearted comedy with interesting plotlines and relatable characters.
Who hasn't been at rock bottom and having to move back in with a relative? ( I have lol).
Is it a gritty murder show? No. Is it incredibly entertaining, smart, funny and well acted? Absolutely!
They all genuinely feel like a family, unhinged enough for it to be believable and recognisable, yet light hearted enough to keep the momentum going.
Even the 'side' characters are all super likeable, the cases are entertaining. I'm looking forward to the new episode each week.
You better give us a season 3!!
The Devil's Hour (2022)
So so good
It was not what I was expecting, yet it blew me away. The characters, the acting, the dialogue, just everything was top notch.
I have not stopped thinking about this series for a week. It was beautiful, heartbreaking and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Please make this an anthology series, I would love that.
Jessica Raine, Peter Capaldi and Nikesh Patel were on top form, as was the actor who played Isaac. The acting from such a young actor was incredible. I hope we see more of him!
I would say it's more suspense/supernatural than horror, so it depends with what mind set you go in.
Criminal Minds: Saturday (2020)
Lovely episode
Wow about all the haters on here. A show would be massively boring if it was just case after case. One of the best things about this show are the characters.
I absolutely loved seeing what they do on their day off, and I thoroughly enjoyed the combination of a case with their personal stories.
I feel genuinely sad that this show is coming to an end, but I am happy that we can see where everyone would be going after this.
Definitely an episode I will be rewatching.
The L Word: Generation Q (2019)
Be open minded and you'll love it.
Is it the exact same as before? Of course not - it is a different show after all! I loved the original show, but I have to say that this is a much more modern take and I am really enjoying it. I enjoy the mix of regular and new characters and I look forward to the development of them. I've looked forward to this quite a bit, and it has not let me down so far. Just give it a shot!
Fringe: An Enemy of Fate (2013)
Best finale for a series for me
I watched this series when it came out all the way until the end. Recently I decided to watch the entire series again, but I wasn't expecting the same emotional response as the first time, boy was I wrong. This series has been amazing from beginning to end. I have loved the stories, the characters (Walter Bishop is my favourite character of all time), but I really enjoyed the ending.
It is hard to have an ending fitting to the show, where are the main characters are still shown, still have a part, that still grips you to the very end, and make you wish you could be there to join the experience with them. This was one of those endings.
Do I wish there were many more seasons of this show? Of course I do, cause it is by far my favourite show. But this ending was beautifully thought out and executed for me.
I wouldn't change a thing. My utmost respect to the writers and actors.
Look forward to watching this show over and over and over again.
