Not a deep game, just pure fun
9 August 2006
This game is seriously one hell of a shooter. Yeah, it has a vague plot, yeah it's not complicated, but so what? People are getting to hooked up on games being serious.Nobody wants to just have reckless fun anymore. And that's where this game excels.

The graphics: For 2001, they're pretty damn good. Sure they're not the best, but it doesn't impair gameplay.

The plot: It basically doesn't matter.

The sound: This area is great. You'll hear the Kamikazi's way before you can see them. Sam's comments throughput the game are hilarious (a boulder rolls by and he whistles the Indiana Jones theme).

The Gameplay: Great. They'll throw 40 enemies at you, then 40 more, and so on. The weapons just plain kickass.

Overall, if you want a great and intriguing plot, stay away. But if you want old-school shooter action, pick this up.

Also, I noted that a reviewer mentioned that if you're in Egypt, your enemies should have spears and stuff. Do you not pay attention?

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (2006 Video Game)

One of the Greats
21 March 2006
Just got the game today. Day of release (it's the first game I've EVER pre-ordered). I have one simple word to describe it: Breathtaking.

The graphics are astounding, the A.I. is brilliant, the voice talent ranks up with the KOTOR games.

The combat system has been tweaked so it is not the same boring system as the last game (one of the few flaws of it).

The glint of light off of metal and the swaying of the trees all add to the realism of the game.

This game is a must have for ANY RPG fans.

Bruce's Best
1 February 2006
A lot of people make comments abouit the horrible acting, and it makes me wonder if they saw it dubbed or with subtitles. If there is a subtitled version I would love to see it. So I won't rate acting skills here.

The fight scenes were great. I loved the nunchaku fight fight and the fight between Bruce and Chuck is definitely the best Martial Arts fight scene ever.

There are humorous moments that might bring a few chuckles (maybe not). All in all it's a very good movie. The plot might have made more sense if I had seen it in the original language.

One of the Must See MA Movies
1 February 2006
I first saw Enter the Dragon about 5 years ago. At that time I could not truly appreciate just how amazing it was. I recently bought the Special Edition and was finally able to appreciate it. Bruce Lee's skills are undeniable (in my opinion).

The movie stars with Lee fighting a Shaolin Monk (Sammo Hung). A British agent meets with Bruce after the fight and offers him a mission. Bruce travels to an island fortress ruled by a man named Han. Two friends (Roper and Williams) also arrive at the island for a MA tournament. Throughout the movie they get into numerous fights and manage to take down Han's empire.

The movie has some excellently choreographed fight scenes and exceptional acting on Lee's part. What detracts from the movie's glory however is the miscast John Saxon as Roper. He wasn't right for the role and you could tell he only had minimal skills. While I would love to give this 10/10, I just can't. Saxon is mainly what detracts from it but the final fight with Han was disappointing as well.

Stiil, despite all it's flaws it is a must see for any avid Martial Artist.
