No Escape Room (2018 TV Movie)

Not as bad as I thought it would be

First of all, the acting isn't that bad as some suggest in other reviews. Second, the storyline does have gaps but is quite original in its execution. Additionally, why was the father more concerned with where Melanie was then his own daughter right after Karen wondered off alone? I really don't believe that would have been the case. I thought it was pretty cool how they ended up back at the diner but do wish some questions were answered at the end, they weren't. My thoughts are that they died and this was their hell.

I've watched this movie 4 times in 7 months. It's chilling, superb and Danis character is oddly relatable. I'm glad a movie like this was made and shared with us. Great acting and a different story then what we normally see in thrillers. Watch it but do not read spoilers.

The Haunting of Sharon Tate (2019)

Very dissappointed

The acting is not very good, especially from key player Hilary. The decor is not consistent with the time which makes it far fetched for me. The story was hard to follow and was not in line with what happend that night. Sharons visions are really the only truth. Even the house on Ciello drive Didn't have that steep of a slope in the front yard. It's just poor production and poor writing.

Summer of 84 (2018)

Enjoyable and pretty to the point

I didn't feel like this movie dragged out and i enjoyed the 80's themed music in the background. This was definitely better than i thought it would be and the acting was actually decent. Props to this crew and cast

Shot really well for what I assume is a low budget flick but that's the only good thing i can say. Very bad acting, just awful. The script was nothing to write home about and the characters were pretty boring. I was embarrassed for the actors for most of the movie and shut it off before the end.

Us (II) (2019)

I'm really disappointed given the hype

Very long stretched out movie that basically combines the story lines from Funny Games and The Strangers .. I was waiting for a climatic ending and was let down. The cast and acting were great which kept me watching to be honest.

The Meg (2018)

So much going on yet not enough gore

I feel like a ton of people were directing this with a ton of different angles. A lot of stuff going on and while that doesn't necessarily mean it was a bad movie, I just thought for all the action there should have been more shock moments or a more original story. Jason was on screen way too much but I do like the idea that they took the idea international rather than setting in a small New England town (so cliche) .. the little girl was adorable but her character was very far fetched. Special fx were great and acting as well. I'm glad i saw it but I probably won't be talking about it much eithe, apparently it didn't hit the spot.
