When I saw the previews for this movie I thought it actually had potential (even though it's been done twice before). I wasn't expecting it to be a musical (and a terrible one at that). The music is awful and doesn't fit the movie. The story is depressing and the constant bickering and arguing between various characters (mom and daughter, daughter and friends, daughter and son, etc.) left me feeling stressed out just from watching it.

On the plus side, I didn't find anything objectionable in it (I watched it with my 10 year old daughter and 8 year old son). The kids thought it was okay, but also hated the music.
