Saw this at the Waverly on west 4th street on a Saturday 1:15pm showing during its original run. As a 13yr. Old it gave me an education in punk and narcissistic behaviour. A life changing film.

The kids are precocious and spiteful and the adults are spineless and narcissistic. There. There's your storyline.

I was taken by this film's realism and astute direction. I wasn't familiar with cast, but no dead weights here. Everyone pulled their own and it showed on the screen. Special cudos to the director and lead actress. Use of black and white was especially effective. Cheers.

I can't understand all the bad reviews. Black and Cera are a great team! Together they could make alot of funny buddy-films. Remind me of the dynamic between Tony Randall and Jack Klugman. Even Abbott and Costello. Film has an awesome supporting cast, as well. As much as I love this film I was surprised by the budget of $60 million. Seriously, 60,000,000? Huh.
