Poor effort

Ok, I first must say I love Aussie and UK people. But honestly you can count the good movies or even television on one hand.

Well, maybe not lol. I mean the one show about the criminal, separated, with daughter, something to do with letter M, I think lol, it was not super terrible.

But it did not last long here. It is kinda amazing that the rest of the world just can't seem to make good movies or television.

This was no different. You get three stars for some effort, mostly the bow. Which only makes sense in country where you have given up your rights to fire arms.

Funny how the bad guys will always have them lol. Oh yea, they don't obey laws lol. Why you have the right to protect yourself.

Acting, well if you are looking for that, skip it. If you are not Australian, skip it.

You will thank me for saving you time, which is the most precious thing in your world. You can't get it back. Use it wisely.

House of the Dragon (2022– )

No comparison to GOT

Ok, they make you write six hundred characters which is ridiculous so bare with me. But if you want real reviews it's what you must deal with

If you are watching house of the dragon you more than likely were a game of thrones fan. I agree with others that there is no comparison.

It's as if since Covid they forgot what GOT was about or how to continue making the hit we grew to love. Agree with others this seemed rushed, almost as if let's get through this we are not making any more. At least it is what it seems.

The young characters were terrific and it started like ok, then like WTF happened. It really has been rushed.

It could have been much better and drags along way to much. With only a couple of episodes with war, fighting and dragon's lol. If they spent as much time and detail and building characters and telling the story as they did playing with sand model it would be better lol.

Daemon character should have played much bigger roll. I mean seriously, the guy would have just crushed his brother lol, who apparently can't command or fly dragons lol.

It is worth watching but if you go in expecting the same standard as GOT you will be disappointed.

Bring more fighting, more dragons, sex, rock n roll yada yada. When you hear that iconic opening music you have expectations.

Hopefully it will renew and they will get their act, pun intended, together.

Barbarian (2022)

So the first thing anyone should do before spending hard earned money on a film is check the credits. Who wrote, directed, acted in and how much the film cost to make etc.

This will let you know whether you should spend your money or not. Your first clue, this is a big one, the writer and the director are the same person. Usually, this is not a good thing, either person paying himself twice, or three times, or they just could not get anyone else to do it.

Once you see this ho directly to the budget, if it is not much chances are it just an iPhone movie as I like to call them. Next, look at cast, is there main players and do you see the writer/director also has a roll. This is the final dagger.

You know there much wrong when they are writer, director, and actor. At this point you should be saying Uh, let's go for a hike instead.

But if you have free tickets or have couple hours to kill then go for it.

Every once in awhile you can be pleasantly surprised.

There are allot of holes and goofs here but it is tense in some areas and in the end you will enjoy most of it.

The ending is well, you will see.

It does not warrant high marks being given. So take things I have said into account before you spend money.

I guess hawk playing for room N board LOL, that is what it looked like.

As said by OTHERS THIS was just RIP of others and should never have been made. As always there is attempt to put push their beliefs down your throat.

The acting is awful.

Also they rarely tell u the budget or gross sales etc. Run from this one...

It is too bad really, this film had great opportunities to expose actual technology WE have today. Have you ever had a random thought or word pop into your head, hmmm. There used to be some older video out there demonstrating early tech.

Think about all the PPL who COMMITTED terrible CRIMES N said the voices made me do it.

All based on SAME tech, sound N frequency.

Based on synopsis it had great potential but wow. IPhone slash iPad movies popping up everywhere that are just terrible lol.

My advice, don't waste your time, which is more valuable than the money you WASTE LOL.

Tesla was a genius that knew everything resonated at it's own frequency, find it and you can do amazing, or terrible things. He gave you almost everything you use N enjoy today. Some if not for GREED we we ould be, like wireless energy.

Ok, not sure what these idiots are watching but the movie was great. Look, these Yahoo's doing reviews for living are MORONS. It's a an action syfy movie based on fantasy and comic books LOL.

As for the villain, well for once it was a more realistic one than a giant who can change universe with CLICK of fingers. Lol.

Look, it's great fun, action start to finish and she shared the screen well with her costars.

Have fun with it. You don't go to a DC comic based syfy flick looking for academy awards LOL. Just click right past these moron review PPL trying to make money with it.

Great movie when there few N far betwern.

Now for the RIDICULOUS biggest pirated movie story. Hey. It's 2021. Stop taking advantage of PPL n forcing them into theaters. Charge a fair price for a download or stream, you ACTUALLY make more money N won't have to worry about pirates. Don't believe the stuffed shirt bad reviews. At a time when movies have been few N far between this was great. For the MORONS you knew going in this was going to just be a set back enjoy ride action flick and yes it delivered. Stuffed shirt oscar drama, uh no. But acting was good n action start to finish.

Yea, couple of gillan fight moves little awkward but over all she carried herself well.

Grab some popcorn and enjoy the action N escape for couple hours.

First, this man is a great actor. His work on well known long running TV show was incredible and not an easy roll. This was incredible fun and great movie during time when been nothing decent made to watch because of PANDEMIC. It's not great drama and tears, just great action start to finish. And actually plot was not bad. Enjoy. Never given a 10, but when we needed something fun it really came through.

Although I love Josh, this show is great. Melding the two works well. N let's face it, Josh can be a tard lol. I mean dragging his girlfriend a long early on was a joke lol. Plus the guy is hilarious trying to repel lol. But hey, this show is great N you can't blame guy wanting to be around family. Being dad means everything. There is large fan base that love the new SHOW N the star chemistry is great.

Actually there is wind in space. it is just not the kind you are used to. cosmic wind and yes a kind of wind created by your movement and speed through space. There is incredible cosmic winds in space, harder and faster than anything you have felt on earth. They are moving at thousands of miles an hour. Some times they have different forms of cosmic dust and particles with them as well as radiation. So, to say windy in space, why yes it is... The astronauts on the moon were hit with wind in space and what came with it were tiny cosmic specs that actually flashed in their rhetna's as flashes of light.

For the move, no not bad for a time when we are starved for anything half decent. So yea, not that bad... give it a whirl....

Ok, let's be real. I am part native and even I found this offensive in the sense that it paints a picture that strippers are mostly minority and their story. They are not. You can look up this statistic for yourself as there is even major circuits for these woman all across the country.

At a time when we still have teams named Redskins and Chiefs but the conversation is all about some fallacy that there is systemic racism in our society I found this offensive. It stereotypes women in this profession.

I have known some young women who put themselves through school and drove a very nice brand new car while doing it and then quit to become doctor lawyer etc.

I personally don't condone the practice, objectifying women in all the wrong ways for me. They are the reason we are alive, they are beautiful, strong, our mothers, the people who keep a house and lives going, all while usually having jobs and careers. I personally do not think they get anywhere near the credit or the money they deserve, just my two cents.

There is some good performance here... although, not my cup of tea.... women should be on a pedestal, just not one you throwing money at lol...

For the guy who liked the effects cus they were like 80's, what, they were terrible lol... He definitely must have something to gain if he thinks 80's slasher effects were good lol... uh, no they were not lol...

Look, this is just pathetic... but, if you want or need a reason to drive you out of your house and into the back yard for some fresh air than by all means, put this on lol....

Wow, where to start... both stars are permanently stuck in past roles and they simply carry over into everything else they attempt to do. Literally... Kerry especially... puppydog sad eyes and manipulative or trying to be sexy. Reese, well you only have to watch one or two movies from the past to see every role she has played in years... I am especially saddened by this because by all account she appears to be a gifted talent with range.

My biggest complaint is it is the same old Hollywood rubbish. They literally can not help themselves trying to keep minorities down and preach their immorality and what they think we should be like down our throats rather than give us plot's and acting that is real.

Really hollywood... it is pathetic... not a single show without pushing some agenda down our throats. It is very very sad... and the minorities in this country should simply turn em off, all they ever do is try and keep us in the past, all of us...

Hey woody, we, the people have moved on long ago and are actually living lives truly caring about everyone and that we are all equal. You don't have to be immoral or racist and bigots like you to do that lol...

Ok, if you are checking in for syfy and fx, well don't bother... they are not here... so sad, some really good actor's signed on for this.

So like seeing how many different camera angles and jumps you can fit into one scene is not good directing or editing.. it is a waste of time and money that could have been spent on making this good and it could have been really really good.

I am terribly disappointed at hulu pitiful attempt. you have to spend a little, starting with director, editing, and for gosh sakes, some special effects for crying out loud, it is syfy, or supposed to be lol.

I won't give anything away... let us just hope that hulu can actually get their "stuff" together and spend a little money next time to give us a product worth watching. And for crying out loud what gives with trickle out episodes in today's market of netflix and amazon where we get complete season's and do not have to wait. We might as well not pay for it and just watch network television hulu lol. For real...

If you are 20 to 25 you might enjoy this as you won't know previous better work where they obviously drew this from... but if you settle for so less it is sad... hulu needs to be pushed to spend the money and do it right to be competitive and give us offerings that are worthy.....

Ok, let us be clear right off the bat. Hollywood is broken. Hello, we don't care if there is a woman in the lead lol. We want original, good, movie's that don't bore us to death and even more importantly don't push your political and immoral agenda down our throats. OH MY GOSH, every single movie and even TV show it is the same thing. They keep trying to force feed what they believe we should think and feel down our throats... whether it is woman's BS, socialism, immoral lgbt behavior, on and on and on... example, even polygamy on a cop show lol... Hello America, it is still illegal in all 50 states lol... but no, they think you should just be able to do what ever the hell you want, laws be damned lol... This movie was pathetic, very sad. especially for the beautiful strong young women. I mean come on.. i am all for them making a good living but if it were me, i would have stepped back and said, uh, how bout a good story and plot line with some good acting instead of just preaching dogma and force feeding... not sure I would have done it.... This was waste of time and money... if it were me, wait for it to come out on $3 dvd lol... even then, you never get the time back lol.... Come on Hollywood, the rest of the world is passing you by, making better and better movie and television that doesn't force feed a dogma of some sort down your throat... as you begin to waste million's of dollars maybe your pocket books will finally get you to change, i doubt it, but maybe lol....

The Lighthouse (I) (2019)

First, I love Defoe. He is one of the all time best and has shown that good looks does not make a good actor. He can carry a movie like this by himself. But, this simply was too much for even him to carry...

First, the black and white.. it is 2020 lol... the only reason for this is simply the lack of money and a complete story to carry a plot. Simply ridiculous... Anyone who tries to praise this use is just lying to you and not telling the truth. Black and white brings nothing to a story and is just a way to hide the lack of production and direction, period... it is used to cover flaws..

Having said that, this story has been told before and more than once. Loosely based on two true stories, one in America and one across the pond, both having some things in common.

Simply put, these kinds of stories with one or in this case two or three actors is extremely difficult and can be incredibly boring for the patron. Defoe is brilliant as always... but I wish he had not done this film. It just takes away from the brilliant actor that he is. If you have some mind numbing time to waste go for it. It is like finger nails on chalk board..watch togo to see how defoe can carry a film and the great use of color and the surroundings to make a film.

They could have filmed the surroundings in beautiful color and really spiced it up and at least made it watchable. The other films, even the foreign film, were way better. Suggest you look for them and skip this... these over rated reviews are just an attempt to get you to watch... this is a real review from a person like you who does not have the money or time to waste... don't waste either...
