Little Women has been my livre de chevet when I was a teenager.
I almost knew it by heart.
The 1994 movie version has been perfection - I'd have to say that I love Winona Ryder!
I did appreciate also the two former versions with great stars such as Katharine Hepburn and Liz Taylor.. So I didn't understand the need for a further version... and the idea of cutting the story into pieces back and forth makes it even worse.
I agree with another reviewer about the fact that T. Chalamet looks like a teenager all through the movie.
I also didn't like Mrs. Meryl Streep cameo as Aunt March.. and I am a big fan of her acting!
Thankfully I watched this movie on tv, so I've been able to switch to another program before the end.
