Seven Days in Utopia (2011)
Not a bad movie, not much of a "golf" movie.
I don't have much to say about the movie itself it was fine, there's a review on here where some guy ridiculed the putting technique used in the movie. It is in fact legal, Dave Pelz Wrote an article on it, Bryson DeChambeau experimented with it for a while and Sam Snead putted face on side saddle.
The Orville (2017)
I tried to like it, I swear.
This is Star Trek can fiction that can't admit it is fan fiction. I expected what we all expect from Seth McFarland and he went out of his way to disappoint. This is nothing but an homage, it is obvious McFarland has a Shatner fantasy he is trying to fulfill. The result is a clumsy aimless and cheesy space show with no character or personality. Occasional jokes fall flat because they are ham handedly delivered by what appear to be serious characters. There are cameos by comedians in unfunny roles. How can you make Norm McDonald and Patrick Warburton unfunny? The worst part is the plot of every single episode is lifted directly from better space shows. I tried to like it, I really tried.
The OA (2016)
Overrated is generous
This is silly garbage, it is the kind of show that is watched by the same people who think the big bang theory is smart or funny. This is so full of ridiculous plot holes and directionless storytelling, it is like they patch work each episode together on the fly. This show literally has no concept. I hate to be the one to tell you but, if you think this is clever or at all intriguing or intelligent then you have an IQ somewhere in the neighborhood of room temperature. This is the Netflix series equivalent of "The Room". My wife and I watch because the absurdity of it makes us laugh ourselves to tears. Please keep making this C-grade garbage. Seriously I would pay as long as the writer (main character) continues to operate under the delusion that she is a genius.
