Murdoch Mysteries: Power (2008)
Terrible camera work
2024 - I know this was filmed in 2008 but it looks ok , the lines are a bit stiff but the wobbly camera work makes it unwatchable, crazy close ups and wild panning make it looks like it was home made. Acting is ok , music ok but camera is terrible.

The Mother (2023)
Acting at its worst
Simply the worst experience, a stilted script to cardboard acting, Lopez gets the trying to hard award alongside the perfect makeup in all scenes award. Camera shots are fine but Lopez is simply awful. Why & how this "Commando" remake got funding I don't know but it's painful to sit through I longed for the end from about a quarter into it. Bizarre how the lines get cheesier every time one of these films gets made, it makes me unsure what demographic it's aimed for, I suppose if your a Jennifer Lopez fan it's great but even then it's got more holes in it than Swiss cheese! Don't bother watch paint dry instead.
The Night Agent (2023)
Brilliant in parts but poor in others
Some good entertainment in this series, but some terrible acting let it down, Diane Farr is so unbelievable it's bizarre, probably not the actress fault as she is dressed up like a Bond villain , as long you can shut that out of your mind it bumbles along in a good misdirection kinda way with you second guessing what's going on. Def worth a watch , and some really good characters in the rest of the cast especially "Agent Monks" he should have a series all of his own :)
The lead characters are good and certainly stand out to make the story believable and exciting enough, just a shame some production decisions seem to let it down.
Harry & Meghan: The Complete Story (2022)
The most up their own bottom show out there!
I think the review titles lprivileged child meets gold digger" is a little unfair but watching you can't help but think it's true, why was Megan filing herself right from the beginning, I would not be surprised to know she thought about a Netflix series as their romance started. I can't see any story at all , it's just them moaning about everything!
Tons of families go through similar issues without all the privileges these two have, I can't help but feel when watching "why are you so special" the bits to camera seem at times not disrespectful but mostly disingenuous. It's made for TV kinda feel. I can't see many people taking this airing of dirty laundry as serious or any kind of shock value, it's like they are heavily playing the "pity me" card without realising how stupid they are.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022)
Everything Discovery should have been!
Only a few episodes in and it feels like the return of classic Trek, great characters , cinematography & for once good story telling. It's so refreshing after the abysmal mess of Star Trek discovery whilst it had good characters and cinematography the acting, production and writing was goddamn awful with Burnham in every scene and the cheesiest lines ever known to mankind no character development and hugging and crying at the end of every episode!
Interceptor (2022)
Terrible acting
How did Chris Hemsworth put his name to this, the plot is like a good old Arnos movie, predictable but entertaining however the supposedly funny pun's are delivered with the worst acting, then the rest of the cast fail at supporting any other line.
Bloodlands (2021)
Unwatchable 90 style wobbly camera production
Couldn't watch this series the old wobbly camera production style is back with full force, whoever directed this should never get a job again, script and acting looked good from the trailers but unwatchable for us, especially worse on a large TV format. #whatweretheythinking #wobblycamerasickness.
Star Trek: Discovery (2017)
The worst Star Trek of all time!
So sad to see a modern well shot series ruined by such bad writing and production, I mean you really have to be bad to mess this up, the camera work, special effects & the majority of the actors are great, but the weird plots, endless crying, hugging, whispering and the insane obsession of having Michael Burnham in every shot , makes it so uncomfortable to watch. I would love to know what the actors think, surely they must be saying to themselves "seriously" every time they get an episode script. Looking at the 1-2 star reviews here I'm not the only one. I know there was infighting after the first season towards the writing team and 2 producers were sacked and some wannabe called Alex Kurtzman took over ,looks like the original producers were right to criticise the writing team as it's got steadily worse & worse. How any media company can sit down and fund this load of dross is beyond me. The poor actors .
The Old Guard (2020)
Great story & plot, but the filing & music is dated & cheap
I really like the plot and some great actors but the lighting, film angles, and weird music mixing is cheap and really lets the series down, however you can see through it after a while as the content is there, I feel sorry for the actors.
