The Man Who Copied is a very strange piece, one of a kind . It's about a poor teenager, Andre who's in love with Silvia, who lives near him. He likes to spy on her sometimes with his telescope. The movie title is about how Andre first photocopies money - but soon it leads to an obsession. He soon gets the girl; Silvia, and with friends Marines and Cardoso, begin a huge plot to get rich in other ways. Andre soon finds out that Silvia's dad, (not biological, according to Silvia), Antunes, is a pervert. Silvia convinced Andre to kill him. They devise a plan together which has a few twists - but in the end, Antunes is dead. The four escape to Rio with a lot of money where they may live happily ever after. Or so it seems .. The Man Who Copied was a comfortable movie with the twist at the end. Some scenes quite surprised me ! It's a great film for to discuss with friends. I give it 7 stars for excellent originality.

Great acting

At first i was drawn in when i heard it was about a gang of teenage killers - based on a true story. The story is quite raw, sometimes a bit shocking. Excellent acting from Egbert Jan Weeber, who plays the lead role of Stan. The movie is quite depressing at times though. Van God Los ( or Godforsaken) is about three teenage boys who begin to kill before for the mafia boss - this is where the "Godfellas" part comes in. I didn't think this movie was mind-blowing or amazing. It was an okay movie ; i thought the acting was great. Some scenes in the film are very violent, and it's shocking to see how out of control they get, especially the character Maikel - in various scenes in the movie - especially near the end ! I thought there would've been a better ending though - it was unpredictable, which is always interesting.

**SPOILER ALERT** Mostly Martha is about a woman who has a very planned life that revolves around her job - being a chef. She is always cooking, whether in the kitchen or not. She doesn't really have time to relax or have fun. Her life quickly changes when her niece, Lina (8) , has to live with Martha. She doesn't know anything about being a mother and there are times where they are both quite frustrated with each other. Lina is a very quiet, private person until the arrival of another chef. Enter Mario, a crazily happy Italian chef. Soon Martha & Mario fall in love and Lina is a happy part of their lives. Mostly Martha (or in German, Bella Martha) is an enjoyable film when you need a mood lift.
Emil und die Detektive

An unpredictably enjoyable movie

At first when i saw Emil & The detectives i did not think it was a children's film. I stumbled upon it in the school holidays when there was nothing to do.I thought it was going to be a sad drama film when i saw how Emil and his father lived - they seemed quite sad . I continued watching it to see how the film would go, but it wasn't what i expected. It's about a young boy, Emil who, because of unforeseen events, goes to Berlin to live with his teacher's sister. On the way more trouble lies, but luckily Emil has some new friends to help him out. This is probably the best German film i've seen so far. I recommend it for children under the age of 10. It also has some funny scenes. I give it 8 stars.
A waste of time

This was quite a silly and very confusing film ! It starts off as a couple breaks up. From then there's a bunch of mind games and it appears the main characters are being hunted by some mysterious people . I think the ending is stupid - it has no real conclusion. At some points in the movie, it was okay but the ending was worse than i could've imagined. I do not recommend this movie at all ! I give it two stars .. i'll be nice .. but a lot of people did give it one . Yes, it's quite awful . Who's Watching is a silly thriller movie , which should only be seen if you are completely & utterly bored. If you do choose to watch it, prepare to be confused.

I'm glad i stayed up to see this

I was originally planning to go to sleep but then i saw a few minutes of Buddy . I ended up watching it till past midnight. It's about three friends, Kristoffer, Geir & Stig Igne. They live in the "Toyen center " . More information from other comments. Buddy must be one the best heart-warming movies i've ever seen ! I didn't expect this much from a foreign film . I loved the characters , Kristoffer, Henriette, Geir & Stig Igne. They were all very unique and had some great characteristics. Nice acting and i especially loved the ending ! It was more than i expected ! It definitely put a smile on my face. I give it 9/10 and i certainly recommend it to those who would like to see some nice decent romance .
