How to Stage a Coup (2017)
Informative
The documentary displayed a lot of lesser known facts about big military leaders and dictators, and how different leaders have different styles. It also throws strong light on how the prevailing situation / timing plays an important role in the success or failure of a coup and how individuals with a strong will and ability to influence power points can have a lasting impact on the fortunes of a country, and consequently global history.
Soul (2020)
Deep and Life changing
My wife is a big fan of animation movies and compelled me to watch this with her. And boy, I must say it was one of those rare movies which are life changing.
The movie makes us re-evaluate our lives in a very creative, out of the box execution. While there are different movies for different folks, this is one movie where I feel everyone would have something that resonates with them.
The animation, soundtrack, scripts... all have come out really well showing why Disney Pixar does what it does best.
Deadpool (2016)
Entertaining and Inventive
Very inventive storytelling and unabashedly expletive dialogues. The film has a touch of spontaneity.
Rise of Empires: Ottoman (2020)
Informative yet entertaining
A very good blend of accuracy and drama, the show brings out historic facts in a very entertaining way. The characters have been portrayed in a very dramatic manner with soundtracks and backgrounds mimicking the steps of a gripping medieval thriller, but staying true to historic facts and details.
The show also acknowledges the importance of the conquest of Constantinople by Mehmed in shaping history in an unbiased manner, showing neither side in a negative light. It acknowledges the positions of both the conqueror and the conquered, and brings out the story in a very simple, viewer friendly manner with explanations.
