Miss Sloane (2016)
sorkin-esque
Alison Pill from The Newsroom is in it. the benzo stuff comes straight out of The Newsroom. it's almost fan fiction.
Sam Waterston from law and order is always a plus for any movie
it's not a 10 so -1
it's claustrophobic -1
great movie and I don't like thrillers. kind of like a James Patterson beach read you must pause and come back a lot. took me all day to watch it w/ this Superbowl nonsense going on. (feb 2019)
to all the pro-gun people who gave it a 1 rating remember she spent 5 years in prison for her dastardly deeds and the Senator most likely got off with a slap on the hand and became a lobbyist for the NRA.
Dirty Grandpa (2016)
hmm
I might watch this again if I was doing the dishes and making a really bad pizza
The Ladies Man (2000)
one of the best movies in human history
Tim Meadows SNL character pre 9/11 hellhole America. Perfect.
The Post (2017)
great movie
Easy 10 for me w/ features. the set design was insane
Ready Player One (2018)
I read the book
I give it a 9.
Armada wasn't as good but might also become a movie. (it's not a sequel or a prequel)
it will be nothing is Spielberg doesn't sign on.
The Sugarland Express (1974)
a cinematic marvel
-1 length.
I'll have to find some special features and it's an easy 10
Barry (2016)
it's a love story.
If you are an angry liberal or an angry conservative you will probably like this. if you are a moderate you will find it off putting and full of lies. pretty good though as far as locations and acting.
Pottersville (2017)
this movie sucks (but it isn't done winning awards) (think Woodstock 1969, Cooperstown, Hockey, and North Dakota all rolled into one ball of yarn)
I love this movie. it sucks. I never give 10 ratings but there's a first time for everything.
the 50th anniversary of Woodstock '69 is this year. they have a lot of events planned the entire summer. (helicopter rides no doubt, world class fireworks, balloon rides) if there's any way you can get down there you should go. it's basically going to be free. they are going to have top of the line soup kitchens, craft beer and wine from the entire Northeast and people will be watching movies in their yards on gigantic big screen TV's (just make sure you have a way home! it's not actually 1969)
all you will really need is the money for an uber or a bus or train ticket. schedule a Doctors appointment somewhere relatively close and make your way to a bus station. if you have a car be prepared to pay NYC parking rates
and for the jet set:
apparently ice cold spring water and reportedly 1.5 ounces of this stuff is all you need. (google to find the review)

Fans of Green Label may have to take a trip to get it. When the Johnnie Walker portfolio received its makeover in 2013, Green Label was phased out of the U.S. market. It will reportedly remain a focus in its most popular market, Taiwan.
Green Label is a blend of just four malts selected "from the four corners of Scotland," each of which is at least 15 years old. Extremely smooth and often described as honeyed, it also has notes of dried fruits.
