Phoenix Forgotten (2017)
Impeccable, detailed and authentic.
The film is based on real events, where in the city of Phoenix, Arizona, it was seen by several people lights in the sky and soon were labeled UFOs. The story surrounds the investigation of 3 young people about the origin and precedents of the phenomenon, leading to a series of events that will mark their lives forever.
The film manages to cause a certain commotion with the disappearance of the three. The effects used, the VHS texture in the video and the falling camcorder scene, impressed me with the details.
The scene where Josh naively interviews Ashley was a major dramatic factor. "They hardly expected what was coming."
The details, the details ... When Ashley looks directly at the camera, sweating and with an expression that impresses, and adds that she felt a metallic taste in her mouth, referring to the effects of radiation exposure, my God! They even detailed that.
Film score ten, extremely detailed, actors not very experienced, but managed to give their best. Wonderful script and impeccable cinematography. They managed to get out of the stereotype of a disk-shaped ship, for something more biblical.
Toxic Guanabara (2016)
Succinct and Wise
It is very good to know, that exist people who cares about the environment and his situation. Here in Rio, the government forgot that, one of the carioca economy engines, is the turism, and the beaches are part of this.
Don't Hang Up (2016)
The film is not so good, but it is not so bad.
Boring. The film exaggerates too much on the issue of technology. The antagonist is super cliché. I was not scared at all, nor did I even recognize scenes that they were meant to be. Weak soundtrack but with good actors. A weak script but good cinematography. At the beginning there were scenes that, honestly, gave me cardiac arrhythmia hahaha! But it breaks the mood with this premeditation. In short, the film is not so good, but it is not so bad.
Heilstätten (2018)
Boring cliché film
From the trailer, it looks very interesting and scary, but over the course of the film I discovered that it's a garbage and boring cliché film, pseudofoundfootage, with a script written by a sequel.
The Vatican Exorcisms (2013)
Could be better.
In reality, this film is like a documentary. In the middle of the film, he starts to get more boring and "very forced". Joey tries to make a suspense air in some scenes that don't worked for me. This film could be better if Joe invest more in a "found footage" or a realy mockumentary, like Lake Mungo or Cropsey.
The Ritual (2017)
Could be a found footage.
This film would be perfect in the found footage genre.
Sinister (2012)
Good!
One thing I can't accept in this film, "How do the tapes have such a good quality?", It seems very illogical to me, not to mention this soundtrack ... But it is a good film, with a good plot, I can put in one of the best films of the genre, I've ever seen. I hope the continuation is good.
Cropsey (2009)
Documentary that everyone should watch.
Documentary that everyone should watch. It has an atmosphere of terror and suspense, as the documentary shows the facts progressively and leaves viewers in the mood to know what will happen. It causes a commotion upon learning of the horrendous story of the antagonist.
Slender Man (2018)
Bad.
The movie has no horror, a bad story, a bad script, a flawed slenderman and nothing makes sense. Looks like the director doesn't know about the slenderman story and out of the blue decided to do this disgrace! I have never been so uncomfortable with a movie.
Wounds (2019)
It only had a hearing on Netflix.
A very weak movie with good actors. I was not scared at any time, all attempts were failed. No sense in cockroaches.
V/H/S Viral (2014)
Bad.
The worst movie of the trilogy. The first two movies were for me, one of the coolest horror movies I've ever seen, and a few years later, looking forward to the release of the third, they come to me with this planet bug.
Lake Mungo (2008)
One of the scariest movies of my life.
I am a lover of horror movies and especially those of the "found footage" genre. To me without a doubt, it's one of the scariest movies of my life. Psychological terror entered my mind overpowering everything, it really should deserve an oscar. I am sorry for not having much repercussion. Beautiful performances, and a great script.
