I just wanted to watch it over and over again. Calm, explosive, beautiful, violent and most of all real. Probably one of the most intense experiences cinema has to offer. Easily one of my all time favorites, simply THE outstanding film of 2011.

Much like Drive Bellflower is a very intense trip through different stages of human emotions. The movie has a very unique style and Evan Glodell certainly knows how to use it. The tension created is so convincing that you sometimes feel like your TV will burst of all the energy. For sure the best low budget movie I have seen in years, if not ever.

What a great performance by Peter Mullan, for me the #1 Lead-Actor of 2011. His portrayal of Joseph who is lost in a black hole of uncontrollable rage and violence is just perfect. But it's not like that is the only good thing about this movie. All other actors are well cast and give excellent performances and last but not least director Paddy Considine, who shows great promise for projects to come.
