this movie was very graphic and the boy is the star theres a scene where he has to hold the woman still so he grabs her legs while the whack job guts her and the blood is pouring down on the boys face as hes looking up at the victim i wonder if that scene screwed him up in real life

this movie was okay but not what i was expecting since the original was done in 1973 i thought cinematic technology would give us much more in this film but it didnt you dont really see the baby at all during its kill nor do you see the kills just alot of splashing blood i wasnt to impressed bijou phillips played the role of mother well but still i was hoping to see the baby in action

jodelle ferland gives a very bizzarre performance in this film first you see her cooking drugs on a stove for her father while her mother acts like a prostitute both parents die one after the other so shes on her own not knowing that her father is dead she just thinks hes sleeping in a chair she pretends alot sort of inventing her own way to escape. warning there are a few scenes where she interacts with a retarted man which could be mistaken as sexual so watch it first before any minor sees it
