Late nights, I was constantly tapping into PBS to see if Bean was on. I don't know how I ran across this show, but there's nothing else quite like it. When I would catch it on, it felt like a real victory, since these skits were like 10 or 15 minutes usually.

Was obsessed with the books as a kid. Had #1-46 until I grew out of it and into Stephen King. My friend Kollin had a Goosebumps themed birthday party, complete with a Goosebumps cake. His dad succeeded in scaring the crap out of us by hiding underneath the table and having his hand burst through the cake. Later in the night he further traumatized us by sneaking outside and banging on the front door while wearing panty hose over his head. First near death experience. Brian Brady slept through the whole thing.
