I dropped by his booth during the last day of Denver Comic Con 2018. He autographed one of my Bone Books and even left an illustration behind. He was very nice, reminiscent of Mark Rylance from Ready Player One. I could tell he was a little old, but it looked like he was so happy to be there.

He had a booth set up a DCC 2018. On the second day I had him sign my copy of Punching Zoo, (a classic in his eyes.) Not only did he autograph one page, but he personalized two other pages of the book.

I happened across his stand at Denver Comic Con, he was selling some illustrations for five dollars a piece. We shook hands and I walked away with two autographed purchasers. He was such a cool guy, seemed very humble.

On the second night of my New York trip we went to the Lyceum Theatre for a performance of The Play That Goes Wrong. Before the show began, the actors went out into the audience to interact with the audience members. Mark Evans popped up in the nosebleeds we were sitting in and asked us (in character) about our thoughts about acting. To which my friend remarks "Oh, I hate actors." The look of shock on Mark's face was amazing. I'll never forgot the words said as he left. "You can never be great actors if you don't aspire to be the best."- Chris
