I thought it was a little kid's movie, but it was creepy and a little scary and dealt with the apocalypse of humanity and it was very unexpected. Defiantly not a little kid's flick, and very enjoyable.

Every year, new Christmas movies come out and every year, they suck. It seemed that Christmas movies with heart (Bell's of St. Mary's, It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th St, Peanut's Christmas, Prancer, and so many more) were given up in order to promote heartless, seasonal movies with cheap jokes and bad acting. Elf changed that trend. It was funny, yes, very funny, but it also had a heart to it that makes you warm and Christmassy inside.
