Ability to attract viewers: the biggest draw in professional wrestlers history. 33 million viewers tuned in to watch him fight Andre the giant in the Main Event which was a ridiculous 15.2 rating and the most watched wrestling event of all time

Wrestling ability: by far hogans weakest category but he is actually an underrated wrestler who had most of his best in ring matches in Japan against Antonio inoki and the great muta. I believe his best match ever was against macho man randy savage at wrestlemania 5.

Championships won: 6 time wcw world heavyweight champion, 1 time wwe world tag team champion with edge, 6 time wwe champion, 1 time nwa southeastern heavyweight champion (northern division), 2 time nwa southeastern heavyweight champion (southern division)

Ability to attract viewers: the second biggest draw of all time next to hulk hogan. Stone cold Steve Austin was the biggest draw from the mid 90's to the early 00's and the main reason the wwe defeated wcw in the Monday night wars by bringing wwe its highest raw ratings ever. Sold the most merchandise in professional wrestling history even surpassing hulk hogan and could sell out arenas in an instant.

Wrestling ability: austin was great wrestling technician that slowed down after his neck injury following a botched piledriver from the late great owen hart. Even after Austin's injury he was still a good in ring worker above fellow greats like the rock and hulk hogan but below ric flair. His best matches were against the rock with whom he had great chemistry with and his best matches of all time in my opinion were against Bret hart with his best and my favorite match of all time against Bret hart at wrestlemania 13.

Championships won: 2 time wcw United States champion, 1 time wcw world tag team champion with Brian pillman, 2 time wcw television champion, 1 time nwa world tag team champion with Brian pillman, 1 time million dollar champion, 6 time wwe champion, 2 time wwe intercontinental champion, 4 time wwe tag team champion with Shawn michaels, dude love, the undertaker and triple h, 1996 king of the ring, fifth wwe triple crown champion,

Wrestling observer 5 star match in 1987 with Barry windham, in 1989 with Ricky steamboat 4 times and terry funk, and in 1991 with Barry windham, Larry zybysko and Sid vicious vs Brian pillman, sting, Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner, wrestling observer best heel in 1990, wrestling observer best interviews in 1991, 1992 and 1994, wrestling observer feud of the year in 1989 with terry funk, wrestling observer match of the year in 1983 with Harley race, 1986 with Barry windham, 1988 with sting and 1989 with Ricky steamboat, wrestling observer most charismatic in 1980, 1982-1984 and 1993, wrestling observer most outstanding in 1986, 1987 and 1989, wrestling observer readers favorite wrestler in 1984-1993 and 1996, wrestling observer wrestler of the year in 1982-1986, 1989, 1990 and 1992, professional wrestling hall of fame and museum class of 2008

Ability to attract viewers: best draw of any non-wwe wrestler and the best competition of the powerhouse wwe. Carried the nwa and wcw for about 3 decades. Considered the best house show draw of all time with the exception of hulk hogan. Feuds with dusty Rhodes, Ricky steamboat and sting drew crowds that rivaled hogans.

Wrestling ability: great wrestling technician and probably the best story telling match skills of all time. Had some of the greatest matches of all time against terry funk and especially Ricky the dragon steamboat. Had great matches against steamboat at clash of the champions 6 and in my opinion his greatest match of all time against steamboat at wrestlewar 1989

Championships won: 3 time nwa mid-Atlantic heavyweight champion, 3 time nwa mid-Atlantic tag team champion with rip hawk, Greg valentine, and big John studd, 2 time nwa television champion, 6 time nwa/wcw United States heavyweight champion, 10 time nwa world heavyweight champion, 3 time nwa world tag team champion with Greg valentine twice and blackjack mulligan, 2 time wcw international world heavyweight champion, 8 time wcw world heavyweight champion, first wcw triple crown champion, 2 time wwe champion, 3 time wwe world tag team champion with Batista twice and roddy piper, 1 time intercontinental champion, thirteenth wwe triple crown champion, 1 time nwa Missouri heavyweight champion, St. Louis wrestling hall of fame class of 2007

Win/loss record: estimated 51% winning percentage overall (251 wins)

4. Mark Calaway

Actor | Suburban Commando

Born on March 24, 1965. Best known as "The Undertaker" from World Wrestling Entertainment. He first came to the WWF in 1990 as Ted DiBiase's mystery partner at The Survivor Series (1990). At first, he was a heel, but later turned face, around WrestleMania VIII (1992). He has held the WWF World ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1984-present

Historical significance: inudcted into wrestling observer hall of fame in 2004, longest tenured wrestler in the wwe (1990) and the only wrestler from the first episode of raw still active, undefeated at wrestlemania (21-0) while only missing wrestlemania 10 and wrestlemania 2000 since he was signed, longest undefeated streak of the 90's (December 1991-September 1993), winner of the 2007 royal rumble and the first person to enter number 30 and win the rumble, pwi feud of the year in 1991 with the ultimate warrior, pwi match of the year in 1998 with mankind, in 2009 with Shawn michaels, in 2010 with Shawn michaels and in 2012 with triple h, number 2 of the 500 best singles wrestlers in 2002, number 21 of the 500 best singles wrestlers of the pwi years, slammy award for wwes greatest hit in 1996 for sucking diesel into the abyss, slammy award for best tattoo in 1997, slammy award for best entrance music in 1997, slammy award for star of the highest magnitude in 1997, slammy award for match of the year in 2009 with Shawn michaels, slammy award for moment of the year in 2010 with Shawn michaels, slammy award for omg moment of the year in 2011 for kicking out of triple hs tombstone piledriver at wrestlemania 27, slammy award for match of the year in 2012 with triple h, wrestling observer 5 star match in 1997 with Shawn michaels, wrestling observer best gimmick in 1990-1994, wrestling observer best heel in 1991, wrestling observer feud of the year in 2007 with Batista, wrestling observer match of the year in 2009 with Shawn michaels and in 2010 with Shawn michaels, retired Shawn michaels.

Ability to attract viewers: undertaker is a good draw on about the same level as Kurt angle in the category. As the face of the company he would not be considered a big draw but he does have some drawing power. I believe takers best drawing power is going to see him live because of his legendary status and awesome entrance people will go to a show just to see this living legend. He was the face of smackdown in the mid 2000's and a lot of old school fans still order wrestlemania to see the dead man defend his streak.

Wrestling ability: the undertakers wrestling ability is tough to describe. Currently he only wrestles once or twice a year and his matches seem to be classics every year. I believe undertakers best stretch of matches came in two periods which were 1995-1999 and 2006- present day. Taker has lost a step which is why he only wrestles in big matches now. I believe this is so he can have that one great brutal match and allow his body to heal up. Overall I would put undertakers wrestling ability in the same class as John cenas. With that said taker is a big man so he is probably the greatest big man in wrestling history. Undertakers has had great matches with mick foley and Kane but I believe his 3 best matches all came against his greatest rival Shawn michaels. In my opinion hbks match with taker at bad blood in 1997 is sandwiched between the two famous wrestlemania matches. Taker vs michaels at wrestlemania 25 was the best undertaker match of all time in my opinion and one of the best matches of all time.

Championships won: 3 time world heavyweight champion, 4 time wwe champion, 1 time wwe hardcore champion, 6 time world tag team champion with big show twice, Kane twice, stone cold Steve Austin and the rock, 1 time wcw world tag team champion with Kane, 1 time uswa unified world heavyweight champion, 1 time wcwa Texas heavyweight champion

Win/loss record: estimated 66% winning percentage (443 wins)

5. Shawn Michaels

Actor | WWE Monday Night RAW

Began his career in Texas. Trained by the legendary Jose Lothario, Shawn Michaels wrestled in Kansas, where he met fellow wrestler, Marty Jannetty. A year later, after sending tapes of his matches to the major wrestling companies at the time, he was contacted by the AWA, who proposed that he team ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1984-2010

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 2003, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 2011, headlined major pay per views in four decades from the 1980's to the 2010's, main evented wrestlemania 5 times, won consecutive royal rumbles in 1995 and 1996, first wwe grand slam champion, won pwi match match of the year a record 11 times, pwi feud of the year in 2008 with Chris Jericho, pwi match of the year in 1993 with Marty jannetty, in 1994 with razor Ramon, in 1995 with diesel, in 1996 with Bret hart, in 2004 with Chris benoit and triple h, in 2005 with Kurt angle, in 2006 with Vince McMahon, in 2007 with John cena, in 2008 with ric flair, in 2009 with the undertaker and in 2010 with the undertaker, pwi most inspirational wrestler of the year in 2010, pwi most popular wrestler of the year in 1995 and 1996, number 1 of the top 500 singles wrestlers in 1996, number 10 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the pwi years, number 33 of the top 100 tag teams of the pwi years with Marty jannetty, slammy award for best slammin jammin entrance in 1996, slammy award for best threads in 1996, slammy award for squared circle shocker for collapsing due to an Owen hart enziguri in 1996, slammy award for master of mat mechanics in 1996, slammy award for match of the year in 1996 with razor Ramon, slammy award for leader of the new generation in 1996, slammy award for best finisher in 1997, slammy award for best match of the year in 1997 with Bret hart, slammy award for match of the year in 2008 with ric flair, slammy award for match of the year in 2009 with the undertaker, slammy award for match of the year in 2010 with the undertaker, slammy award for double cross of the year for turning on Daniel bryan and costing him the wwe championship at hell in a cell, wrestling observer 5 star match in 1994 with razor Ramon and in 1997 with the undertaker, wrestling observer best babyface in 1996, wrestling observer feud of the year in 2004 with triple h and Chris benoit and in 2008 with Chris Jericho, wrestling observer match of the year in 1994 with razor Ramon, in 2008 with Chris Jericho, in 2009 with the undertaker and in 2010 with the undertaker, wrestling observer most charismatic in 1995 and 1996, wrestling observer tag team of the year in 1989 with Marty jannetty.

Ability to attract viewers: Shawn michaels is a good draw but not as big as the wrestlers before him on this list. There was times when hbk was a huge draw though. Hbks biggest drawing power was as the leader of d-generation x. During this period wcw was beating wwe in the ratings but this is not hbks fault the reason was because wcw simply had better story lines during the time.

Wrestling ability: Shawn michales is one of the best in ring competitors of all time. He has had countless great matches. Hbk mixed great technical skills with great story telling in his matches and was always entertaining. Michaels had great matches with everyone but to name a few every time he fought chris Jericho was an instant classic and his matches against flair were great as well even though both men were older. Hbk vs flair at bad blood 2003 is the forgotten hbk vs flair match but in my opinion is just as good as the wrestlemania version. My favorite hbk match of all time was against John cena at wrestlemania 23 which is also a very underrated match.

Championships won: 3 time wwe champion, 1 time world heavyweight champion, 1 time wwe European champion, 3 time wwe intercontinental champion, 5 time world tag team champion with diesel twice, stone co,d Steve Austin, John cena and triple h, 1 time wwe tag team champion with triple h, fourth wwe triple crown champion, first wwe grand slam champion, 2 time awa world tag team champion with Marty jannetty, 1 time nwa central states tag team champion with Marty jannetty, 2 time awa southern tag team champion with Marty jannetty, 2 time tasw Texas tag team champion with Paul diamond

Win/loss record: estimated 68% winning percentage (386 wins), 76% winning percentage in wwf (238 wins).

6. Dwayne Johnson

Actor | Black Adam

Dwayne Douglas Johnson, also known as The Rock, was born on May 2, 1972 in Hayward, California. He is the son of Ata Johnson (born Feagaimaleata Fitisemanu) and professional wrestler Rocky Johnson (born Wayde Douglas Bowles). His father, from Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada, is black (of Black Nova ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1995-present (semi retired)

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 2007, former college and Canadian football player, first third generation wrestler in wwe history, 17 championship reigns in the wwe including 10 world title reigns, sixth wwe triple crown champion, 2000 royal rumble winner, autobiography the rock says debuted at #1 on the New York Times best seller list and remained on the list for several weeks, world record for an actor in his first starring role with 5.5 million in the scorpion king, pwi match of the year in 1999 with mankind and in 2002 with hulk hogan, pwi most popular wrestler of the year in 1999 and 2000, pwi wrestler of the year in 2000, number 2 of the 500 best singles wrestlers in 2000, number 76 of the 500 best singles wrestlers of the pwi years, slammy award for new sensation in 1997, slammy award for game changer of the year in 2011 with John cena, slammy award for guess who's back or return of the year in 2011, slammy award for lol moment of the year in 2012 for insulting John cena using the history of Boston Massachusetts and in 2013 for the rock concert on the 20th anniversary of raw, slammy award for match of the year in 2013 with John cena, wrestling observer best box office draw in 2000, 2011 and 2012, wrestling observer best gimmick in 1999, wrestling observer best on interviews in 1999 and 2000, wrestling observer most charismatic in 1999-2002, 2011 and 2012, wrestling observer most improved in 1998.

Ability to attract viewers: the rock is a big draw and the highest ratings on raw were during his this is your life segment with mick foley. The rock was the biggest draw in wwe after Steve Austin's departure but he left to become a movie star soon after and John cena ended up becoming the guy. The rock was actually the main focus of the highest rated raw and smackdown shows. The rock has the rare distinction of holding victories over the three biggest stars of their eras at wrestlemania as he defeated hulk hogan Steve Austin and John cena at the big show. The rock is one of the biggest draws of all time and had he not left to become an a list actor he could have ended up number 1 or 2 on this list.

Wrestling ability: overall the rocks wrestling ability is probably on par with guys like cena and taker. Great at times but overall above average would probably describe his in ring skills.the rock from the late nineties and early 2000's was better than the part time rock we have seen in recent years because he was wrestling on a consistent basis but rocky is a talented athlete and could be just as good as ever if he ever wrestled a full time schedule again. The rocks best matches came against the undertaker, tripe h, Kurt angle and of course Steve Austin. In my opinion rocks best match was against Austin at wrestlemania 17.

Championships won: 2 time wcw world champion, 8 time wwe champion, 2 time wwe intercontinental champion, 5 time world tag team champion 3 times with mankind, the undertaker and Chris Jericho, sixth wwe triple crown champion, 2 time uswa world tag team champion with Bret sawyer

Win/loss record: estimated 58% winning percentage (247 wins).

7. Randy Savage

Actor | Spider-Man

One of the most colorful wrestlers in and out of the ring, Randy "Macho Man" Savage became a larger-than-life pop icon along with other wrestling superstars, such as "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan, Jimmy Snuka (aka "Superfly Jimmy Snuka"), Jesse Ventura and Dwayne Johnson (aka "The Rock").

When ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1973-2005

Historical significance: inducted into wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, held 20 major championships, 1987 king of the ring winner, 1995 wcw world war 3 winner, headlined wrestlemania, summerslam and starrcade, pwi comeback of the year in 1995, pwi feud of the year in 1997 with diamond Dallas page, pwi match of the year in 1987 with Ricky steamboat, pwi most hated wrestler of the year in 1989, pwi most popular wrestler of the year in 1988, pwi wrestler of the year in 1988, pwi Stanley Weston award in 2011, number 2 of the top 500 singles wrestlers in 1992, number 9 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the pwi years, number 57 of the top 100 tag teams of the pwi years with hulk hogan, wcw king of cable in 1995, wrestling observer match of the year in 1987 with Ricky steamboat, wrestling observer best pro wrestling DVD for macho madness the randy savage ultimate collection in 2009, professional wrestling hall of fame in 2009

Ability to attract viewers: randy savage was a solid draw for the wwe in the 1980's and early 1990's but was never the top draw of the company. Savage was a big enough draw to be the top guy but in my opinion is one step below the mega draws such as hogan, Austin, cena, rock, sammartino and flair.

Wrestling ability: savage had amazing in ring ability and is one of the best workers of all time. Savage is the original show stealer as his matches were usually far better than any others on the cards he wrestled. Savage has the best top rope elbow drop of all time and it always seemed like he floated in the air before he landed it. Savage could pull a great match out of even the worst workers and actually gave the ultimate warrior one of his only great matches. Some of savages best matches were against hogan and warrior who are not known for having great matches but his best match ever was one of the best matches of all time and a stole the show from the hogan vs Andre main event. That match was his classic against Ricky the dragon steamboat at wrestlemania 3 when he lost his intercontinental championship and this match inspired a lot of wrestlers who were around the 6 foot and 200 pound marks.

Championships won: 4 time wcw world heavyweight champion, 2 time wwe champion, 1 time wwe intercontinental champion, 2 time awa southern heavyweight champion, 1 time cwa international heavyweight champion, 3 time nwa mid America heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa gulf coast tag team champion with lanny poffo, 3 time icw heavyweight champion, 1 time uswa unified world heavyweight champion, 1 time wwc North American heavyweight champion

Win/loss record: estimated 61% winning percentage (208 wins), 72% winning percentage in wwe (140 wins), 100% winning percentage in tna (1 win 0 losses).

Pwi comeback of the year in 1997, pwi feud of the year in 1993 with Jerry lawler and 1994 with Owen hart, pwi match of the year in 1992 with British bulldog, 1996 with Shawn michaels and 1997 with Steve Austin, pwi most hated wrestler of the year in 1997, pwi most inspirational wrestler of the year in 1994, pwi Stanley Weston award in 2003, number 1 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the year in 1993 and 1994, number 4 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the pwi years, number 37 of the top 100 tag teams of the pwi years, slammy award for put a fork in him he's done in 1996 for the sharpshooter, slammy award for best music video in 1996, slammy award for which wwf champion past or present in attendance is hall of fame bound in 1996, slammy award for match of the year with Shawn michaels in 1996, wrestling observer 5 star match with Owen hart in 1994 at summerslam and with Steve Austin in 1997, wrestling observer best pro wrestling book in 2007 for hitman, wrestling observer best pro wrestling DVD in 2006 for Bret hit man hart the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be and in 2011 for wwe greatest rivalries Shawn michaels vs Bret hart, wrestling observer feud of the year with Jerry lawler in 1993 and with Owen hart, Jim neidhart, British bulldog and Brian pillman vs Steve Austin, wrestling observer match of the year with Steve Austin in 1997, professional wrestling hall of fame and museum class of 2008, stampede wrestling hall of fame

Ability to attract viewers: while Bret hart did not attract as many viewers in the United States as stars like hogan or Austin he is considered their equal when it comes to drawing fans from all over the world. Bret was the main star in the worst year for professional wrestling as far as viewership goes in 1994 but was also a big star before this time during the hogan/flair era and afterwards during the Austin era.

Wrestling ability: Bret hart is one of the best wrestling technicians of all time without a doubt and could have a great match with just about anyone. Bret's greatest matches came against his brother Owen hart, Steve Austin and in my opinion his best match was against Shawn michaels in a 60 minute iron man match that he lost at wrestlemania 12.

Championships won: 2 time wcw world heavyweight champion, 4 time wcw United States champion, 1 time wcw world tag team champion with Goldberg, fifth wcw triple crown champion, 1 time wwe United States champion, 5 time wwe champion, 2 time wwe intercontinental champion, 2 time wwe world tag team champion with Jim neidhart, 2 time king of the ring winner in 1991 and 1993, second wwe triple crown champion, 5 time new international tag team champion with Keith hart 4 times and Leo Burke, 3 time stampede British commonwealth mid heavyweight champion, 6 time stampede North American heavyweight champion, 1 time wwc Caribbean tag team champion with smith hart

One enjoys eating a lot of nuts and the other is still trying to find his, slammy award for kiss of the year in 2012 with aj lee, slammy award for match of the year in 2013 with the rock, wrestling observer 5 star match in 2011 with cm punk, wrestling observer wrestler of the year in 2007 and 2010, wrestling observer best box office draw in 2007, wrestling observer best gimmick in 2003, wrestling observer best on interviews in 2007, wrestling observer feud of the year in 2011 with cm punk, wrestling observer match of the year in 2011 with cm punk, wrestling observer most charismatic in 2006-2010, wrestling observer most charismatic of the decade 2000-2009, wrestling observer feud of the year in 2012 with Kane.

Ability to attract viewers: John cena is not as big of a draw as the faces of the company before him such as hogan or Austin but he is still a huge star and the biggest draw in the company by far. Cena is popular not only in the United States but world wide. Cena sells a ton of merchandise and is very popular among women and children younger than 14. Fans boo cena most of the time but every fan has an opinion about cena which is what every wrestler wants. The one thing a wrestler should never want is silence when they are in the ring and the crowd is never silent when John cena is around.

Wrestling ability: John cena is now an underrated wrestler he is a far better in ring competitor than hogan in his prime but not as sound as Austin in his. The best thing about cenas ability is that he actually improved his in ring skills through hard work and since 2005 I would call him an above average in ring worker. Cents best matches came against rob van dam, Shawn michaels, and his best match in my opinion was his classic match against cm punk at money in the bank 2011.

Championships won: 11 time wwe champion, 3 time world heavyweight champion, 3 time United States champion, 2 time wwe tag team champion with the miz and David otunga, 2 time world tag team champion with Batista and Shawn michaels, 1 time ovw heavyweight champion, 1 time ovw southern tag team champion with Rico constantino

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1963-1992

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, first inductee to the wwe hall of fame in 1993, pwi most popular wrestler of the year in 1977 and 1982, pwi match of the year in 1981 with killer khan and 1988 with hulk hogan, pwi most hated wrestler of the year in 1988, pwi editors award in 1993, number 3 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the pwi years, slammy award for bobby the brain heenan scholarship award with haku, tama, Hercules, King Kong bundy and Harley race, wrestling observer feud of the year in 1981 with killer khan, professional wrestling hall of fame and museum class of 2002, stampede wrestling hall of fame

Ability to attract viewers: Andre is one of the biggest draws of all time around the world. Andre and hulk hogan drew 33 million viewers for the main event when he defeated hogan to win his only wwe championship. Also helped draw the first million dollar gate in wrestling history against hulk hogan at wrestlemania 3 and set the indoor attendance record for any live event with more than 78,000 fans. Andre was a draw before he turned heel as a dominant face who would win handicap matches with ease as well as being the all time king of battle royals.

Wrestling ability: Andre was not a good wrestling technician because of his size but in his prime could move around very well for such a big man. Andre had a very limited move set mostly using chops and headbutts. Andres best matches were against Antonio inoki, Stan Hansen and hulk hogan. Andres best match in my opinion was against hulk hogan at wrestlemania 3. It was not a 5 star classic but was a pro wrestling super match that was amazing to watch.

Championships won: 1 time wwe champion, 1 time wwe tag team champion with haku, 1 time nwa Florida tag team champion with dusty Rhodes, international wrestling Grand Prix winner in 1985, 1 time nwa United States tag team champion with dusty Rhodes, 1 time nwa Austria asian tag team champion with Ronald miller

Win/loss record: estimated 67% winning percentage (126 wins), estimated 96% winning percentage in wwwf (21 wins and 1 draw)

In 1998 he transitioned into professional wrestling where he sky rocked to success after joining the World Wrestling Federation. He later became the first ever ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1998-present

Historical significance: only Olympic gold medalist in history of professional wrestling, two time NCAA division 1 amatuer wrestling champion, 2 time Olympic gold medalist, one of four people to complete a grand slam in amatuer wrestling (junior nationals, NCAAs, world championships and the Olympics. Named the greatest shoot wrestler and top 15 college wrestlers of all time by USA wrestling, 2000 king of the ring winner, tenth wwe triple crown champion, fifth wwe grand slam champion, second tna triple crown champion and the only person to hold all three titles at the same time. Only person to be a triple crown winner in wwe and tna, first man to hold the wwe, wcw, tna, iwgp and world heavyweight championships, two time king of the mountain champion in 2007 and 2009, only person to win king of the ring and king of the mountain, 12 time world champion overall and 20 major championships, wrestling observer wrestler of the decade of the 2000's, second inductee into the tna hall of fame in 2013, tna feud of the year in 2006-2007 with Samoa joe, tna match of the year in 2007 with sting, wrestling observer best gimmick in 2000, wrestling observer best on interviews in 2002, wrestling observer best technical wrestler in 2002, wrestling observer feud of the year in 2003 with Brock lesnar, wrestling observer match of the year in 2002 with Chris benoit vs edge and Rey mysterio, wrestling observer most improved in 2000, wrestling observer most outstanding wrestler in 2001-2003, pwi comeback of the year in 2003, pwi feud of the year in 2000 with triple h, in 2003 with Brock lesnar and in 2007 with Samoa joe, pwi match of the year in 2003 with Brock lesnar and in 2005 with Shawn michaels, pwi most hated wrestler of the year in 2000, pwi most inspirational wrestler of the year in 2001, pwi most popular wrestler of the year in 2001, pwi rookie of the year in 2000, pwi wrestler of the year in 2002 and 2003, number 1 of the top 500 singles wrestlers in 2001

Ability to attract viewers: Kurt angle is a good draw who may be considered the top guy in between the Austin and cena eras. Angle is not a huge draw but is currently the biggest draw in tna since hogan and flair left although that isn't saying much. Angle was never a huge draw for the wwe but was always a solid main event star whether he was the top guy or not.

Wrestling ability: Kurt angle is one of the best in ring wrestlers of all time. His technical ability is among the top 5 of all time without a doubt and his numerous injuries have not changed that at all. Some of angles many great matches came against edge, Rey mysterio, Chris benoit and his best match of all time in my opinion which was against Shawn michaels at wrestlemania 21 in which he got a very rare submission victory over the show stopper.

Championships won: 2 time Olympic gold medalist in freestyle heavyweight wrestling, 1 time iwgp heavyweight champion, 5 time tna world heavyweight champion, 2 time tna world tag team champion with sting and aj styles, 1 time tna x division champion, second tna triple crown champion, 1 time wcw United States champion, 1 time wcw champion, 1 time world heavyweight champion, 4 time wwe champion, 1 time wwe European champion, 1 time wwe hardcore champion, 1 time wwe intercontinental champion, 1 time wwe tag team champion with Chris benoit, king of the ring winner in 2000, tenth wwe triple crown champion, fifth wwe grand slam champion.

Win/loss record: estimated 52% winning percentage (363 wins).

Bruno Leopoldo Francesco Sammartino was an Italian-born American professional wrestler, best known for his work with the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF, now WWE). There, he held the WWWF World Heavyweight Championship (WWWF Heavyweight Championship during his second reign) for more than 11 ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1959-1987

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 2013, longest reigning wwe champion of all time with two title reigns combining for 4040 days, longest single wwe championship reign, pwi match of the year in 1972 in a battle royal, 1975 with spiros arion, 1976 with Stan Hansen, 1977 with billy graham and 1980 with Larry zybysko, pwi most inspirational wrestler of the year in 1976, pwi Stanley Weston award in 1981, pwi wrestler of the year in 1974, number 7 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the pwi years, wrestling observer feud of the year in 1980 with Larry zybysko, professional wrestling hall of fame and museum class of 2002

Ability to attract viewers: Bruno sammartino was the biggest draw in professional wrestling before hulk hogan and ric flair. Bruno regularly sold out Madison square garden and the garden is nicknamed the house that Bruno built because of this. Bruno was the top guy in the wwe like hogan and Austin were in their time and like John cena is now. The difference between Bruno and these other stars is that he was a monster draw in New York but less of a draw the further away from New York he was.

Wrestling ability: Bruno's wrestling ability is on the level of Antonio inoki which is slightly better hulk hogans. Bruno was a mat-oriented wrestler as well as a brawler like most wrestlers of his era. Bruno had legendary matches with Larry zybysko, killer kowalski and his best match of all time in my opinion was his rematch with superstar billy graham for the wwwf championship in 1977.

Championships won: 2 time wwwf international tag team champion with Dominic denucci and tony Marino, 1 time wwwf United States tag team champion with spiros arion, 2 time wwwf world heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa international tag team champion with whipper billy Watson, nwa United States heavyweight champion, 1 time wwa world tag team champion with dick the bruiser

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1992-present

Historical significance: inducted into wrestling observer hall of fame in 2005, executive Vice President of talent and live events of wwe (third in charge behind his wife and Vince McMahon), held 23 championships in wwe, 13 time world champion, first world heavyweight champion, 1997 king of the ring winner, 2002 royal rumble winner, second wwe grand slam champion, seventh wwe triple crown champion, pwi feud of the year in 2000 with Kurt angle, in 2004 with Chris benoit and in 2009 with randy orton, pwi match of the year in 2004 with Shawn michaels and Chris benoit, pwi most hated wrestler of the year in 2003-2005, pwi most hated wrestler of the decade 2000-2009, pwi wrestler of the year in 2008, pwi wrestler of the decade in 2000-2009, number 1 of the 500 best singles wrestlers in 2000 and 2009, number 139 of the 500 best singles wrestlers in the pwi years, slammy award for best hair in 1997, slammy award for omg moment of the year in 2011 for performing a tombstone piledriver on the undertaker and undertaker kicking out at wrestlemania 27, slammy award match of the year in 2012 with the undertaker, wrestling observer feud of the year in 2000 with mick foley, in 2004 with Shawn michaels and in 2005 with Batista, wrestling observer wrestler of the year in 2000, retired cactus jack, unmasked Kane.

Ability to attract viewers: triple h is a good draw...sometimes. In the mid 2000's it seemed like triple h opened up every raw on the mic and would cut a 15 minute interview. This was the begining of dark times for wwe and having trip shoved down people's throats did not help. Triple h has been around for a lot of good and bad times in wwe and during the good times he was a main guy and during some of the bad times he was the main guy. When used right triple h is a good draw on the same level as the angle and taker simply because he is a big name just not a mega star like hogan, flair or Austin even if he thinks he is.

Wrestling ability: triple h is a good wrestler who in ring skills wise I would compare to Steve Austin. Triple h has had a lot of great matches even if you don't like anything else about him. Triple h is a technically sound wrestler who gets heat for fans because for years he was shoved down fans throats and he buried some of the same wrestlers he had good matches with. Despite all of that I actually consider trips a slightly underrated in ring wrestler. Triple hs best matches were against the undertaker, who he had three good wrestlemania matches against with wrestlemania 27 being the best of them, Shawn michaels, Chris benoit and the best of the bunch in my opinion was against Steve Austin at no way out in 2001 which he won.

Championships won: 8 time wwe champion, 5 time world heavyweight champion, 2 time wwe European champion, 5 time wwe intercontinental champion, 1 time wwe tag team champion with Shawn michaels, 2 time world tag team champion with stone cold Steve Austin and Shawn michaels, 1997 king of the ring winner, second wwe grand slam champion, seventh wwe triple crown champion.

Win/loss record: estimated 53% winning percentage (385 wins).

American-born, Canadian-raised professional wrestler, rock singer, actor and author. Debuted in 1990 in Calgary after training in the Hart Family Dungeon. He competed for Stampede Wrestling, for the Canadian National Wrestling Alliance (no connection to the National Wrestling Alliance) and West ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1990-present

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 2010, held 30 championships in wwe, wcw and ecw, first wwe undisputed champion by defeating the rock and Steve Austin in one night, record 9 time intercontinental champion, fourth wwe grand slam champion, ninth wwe triple crown champion, headlined wrestlemania 18, lead vocalist of fozzy, pwi feud of the year in 2008 with Shawn michaels, pwi most hated wrestler of the year in 2002, number 2 of the 500 best singles wrestlers in 2009, slammy award for superstar of the year in 2008, slammy award for tag team of the year in 2009 with the big show, wrestling observer best on interviews in 2003, 2008 and 2009, wrestling observer best on interviews of the decade 2000-2009, wrestling observer feud of the year in 2008 with Shawn michaels, wrestling observer match of the year in 2008 with Shawn michaels, wrestling observer most underrated wrestler in 1999 and 2000, wrestling observer readers favorite wrestler in 1999, wrestling observer wrestler of the year in 2008 and 2009, wrestling observer best pro wrestling book for undisputed how to become the world champion in 1372 easy steps, wrestling observer best pro wrestling DVD for breaking the code behind the walls of Chris Jericho, unmasked juventud guerrera, shaved Kevin Nash's head in a hair vs hair match.

Ability to attract viewers: Chris Jericho is a good draw probably similar to triple h and Kurt angle even though he never really got an opportunity to be the face of any company. Jericho is a solid main eventer but his drawing power is nowhere near the mega stars and is also well below the second tier of stars like Bret hart and Shawn michaels. Jericho may slightly increase house show attendances in places like Canada and New York but overall he is more of a show stealer than a show seller.

Wrestling ability: Jericho is a great in ring worker with great technical skills, great storytelling and highly entertaining like his hero Shawn michaels. Y2j can compare to any of the other great wrestlers. He may be slightly below hbk, angle and Bret hart in ability but not by much. Jerichos run as cruiserweight and television champion was one of the best mid card runs ever in my opinion but his best matches came against Chris benoit, triple h, Steve Austin and in my opinion jerichos best match of all time was his showstealing classic against Shawn michaels at wrestlemania 19, a match I thought he should have gone over in but ultimately lost in a classic match.

Championships won: 1 time ecw world television champion, 4 time wcw cruiserweight champion, 1 time wcw world television champion, 2 time wcw world champion, 3 time world heavyweight champion, 5 time world tag team champion with Chris benoit, the rock, Christian, edge and the big show, 2 time wwe tag team champion with edge and the big show, 1 time wwe European champion, 1 time wwe hardcore champion, 9 time wwe intercontinental champion, 1 time undisputed wwe champion, ninth wwe triple crown champion, fourth wwe grand slam champion, 1 time nwa world middleweight champion, 1 time war international junior heavyweight champion, 1 time war international junior heavyweight tag team champion with gedo, 1 time wwa tag team champion with el dandy

Win/loss record: estimated 51% winning percentage (570 wins), 100% winning percentage in smokey mountain (49 wins), 100% winning percentage in nxt (1 win), 65% winning percentage in wcw (128 wins)

16. Eddie Guerrero

Actor | WrestleMania XIX

One of the great Hispanic wrestlers, Eddie Guerrero grew up part of the famous wrestling family: The Guerreros. Length of time spent in wrestling: 1987-2005

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 2006, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 2006, held 23 major titles including the wwe championship, aaa hall of fame class of 2008, njpw best of the juniors in 1996, pwi comeback of the year in 1999, pwi most inspirational wrestler of the year in 2002 and 2004, pwi Stanley Weston award in 2005, number 2 of the top 500 singles wrestlers in 2004, number 81 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the pwi years, number 18 of the top 100 tag teams of the pwi years with art Barr, 11th wwe triple crown champion, 6th wwe grand slam champion, wrestling observer 5 star match in 1994 with art Barr vs el hijo del santo and octagon, wrestling observer best on interviews in 2005, wrestling observer feud of the year in 1994 with art Barr vs el hijo del santo and octagon and in 1995 with dean malenko, wrestling observer most charismatic in 2004 and 2005, wrestling observer tag team of the year with in 1994 with art Barr and in 2002 with chavo guerrero, beat ari Romero, negro casas and chavo guerrero jr in hair matches

Ability to attract viewers: eddie guerrero was a good draw on the same level as his friends chris Jericho and Rey mysterio. A lot of people compare eddie to his friend Chris benoit and rightly so as they are similar in most of these categories in my opinion except this one. Eddie guerrero was a bigger draw than his friend because of how much fans loved him. Eddie sold a ton of merchandise and had some of the craziest pops. His drawing power started to increase after he beat Brock lesnar for the wwe championship and became of the company's biggest stars but he sadly died right before he was supposed to win the title for a second time. When Eddie was the man on smackdown it's ratings rivaled its big brother show raw and even surpassed it on occasions. This is probably because of the Latino audience that Eddie and his friend Rey mysterio were drawing at this time. Eddie may be the best smackdown world champion of all time because the show had its best ratings during his title reign

Wrestling ability: Eddie guerrero is one of the best in ring workers of all time on the same level of fellow legends randy savage, Shawn michaels and Chris Jericho. Guerrero was an excellent technical wrestler who could have a classic type match with just about anyone. Eddie had all time great matches as a tag team and singles wrestler with multiple partners and opponents but his best tag team matches came when he teamed with art Barr against octagon and el hijo del santo and great singles matches with Rey mysterio but his best match in my opinion was when he defeated Brock lesnar for his first long overdue wwe championship at no way out in 2004. Eddie was a huge underdog in the match but since Brock was going to be leaving the wwe Eddie defeated him and overcame the odds just like he had in his personal life.

Championships won: 2 time ecw world television champion, 2 time wcw cruiserweight champion, 1 time wcw United States heavyweight champion, 1 time wwe champion, 4 time wwe tag team champion with chavo guerrero twice, tajiri and Rey mysterio, 1 time wwe United States champion, 2 time wwe European champion, 2 time wwe intercontinental champion, eleventh wwe triple crown champion, sixth wwe grand slam champion, 1 time aaa world tag team champion with art Barr, 2 time iwa mid south heavyweight champion, 1 time wwa international cruiserweight champion

Win/loss record: estimated 54% winning percentage (311 wins)

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1983-2013

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 2000, pwi match of the year in 1998 with undertaker and 1999 with the rock, pwi most inspirational wrestler of the year in 1993, number 19 of the 500 best singles wrestlers in 1999, number 48 of the 500 best singles wrestlers of the pwi years, wrestling observer best brawler in 1991-2000, wrestling observer best on interviews in 1994, 2004 and 2006, wrestling observer feud of the year in 2000 with triple h, wrestling observer best pro wrestling book in 2010 for countdown to lockdown.

Ability to attract viewers: mick foley is a good draw in the same class with triple h in my opinion. His feud with triple h in 2000 drew large crowds and sold pay per views but overall foley has a cult following sort of like the old ecw. There are fans that will watch a big foley match but he is not a huge draw.

Wrestling ability: mick foley is the best pure brawling wrestler of all time. Some people, like ric flair, have called foley a glorified stuntman but foley got over with his brawling style and some great matches. overall i would put foleys skills in the same ballpark as the undertaker and john cena. Foleys best matches came against Shawn michaels, triple h and of course his most famous and best match was against the undertaker at king of the ring 1998 in a hell in a cell match which was the match that foley took the infamous dive off of the cage and continued the match until undertaker eventually pinned him

Championships won: 2 time ecw world tag team champion with Mikey whipreck twice, 1 time tna legends champion, 1 time tna world heavyweight champion, 1 time wcw world tag team champion with Kevin Sullivan, 3 time wwe champion, 1 time wwe hardcore champion, 8 time wwe tag team champion 3 times with the rock, 2 times with Kane, stone cold Steve Austin, chainsaw Charlie and al snow, 1 time cwa tag team champion with Gary young, 1 time nwl heavyweight champion, 1 time uswa world tag team champion with Scott Braddock, 1 time wcwa world light heavyweight champion, 2 time wcwa world tag team champion with super zodiak 2 and Scott Braddock

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 2010, inducted into the wcw hall of fame in 1995, founder and former owner of new Japan pro wrestling, number 5 of the 500 best singles wrestlers of the pwi years, wrestling observer promoter of the year in 2001, professional wrestling hall of fame and museum class of 2009

Ability to attract viewers: Antonio inoki is the biggest draw in Japan of any Japanese born wrestlers. His most well known match in America was a draw in a mixed martial arts type match with boxing great Muhammed Ali. According to most people that watched the match inoki deserved the victory over Ali.

Wrestling ability: inoki is called the hulk hogan of Japan and is comparable to hogan in wrestling ability but probably slightly better overall. His best matches came against hogan, vader and ric flair. His best match in my opinion was when he defeated ric flair in a great match.

Championships won: 1 time iwgp heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa North American tag team champion with seiji sakaguchi, 1 time wwf world martial arts champion, 2 time wwwf world martial arts champion, 1 time wwe champion, 4 time nwa international tag team champion with giant baba, 3 time jwa all Asia tag team champion with michiaki yoshimura twice and kintaro ohki, 1 time nwa Texas heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa world tag team champion with duke keomuka (texas version), 1 time nwa united national champion, 1 time nwa world tag team champion (mid America version), 1 time uwa world heavyweight champion

20. Bob Backlund

Robert Louis Backlund is an American retired amateur and professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances in the World Wide Wrestling Federation/World Wrestling Federation from 1976 to 1984 and in the 1990s, where he held the WWWF Championship/WWF Championship on two occasions. His first...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1973-present

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 2004, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 2013, second longest reign as wwe champion, pwi match of the year in 1978 with billy graham and in 1982 with jimmy snuka, pwi most hated wrestler of the year in 1994, pwi most inspirational wrestler of the year in 1977 and 1981, pwi rookie of the year in 1976, pwi wrestler of the year in 1980 and 1982, number 7 of the 500 best singles wrestlers of the pwi years, professional wrestling hall of fame and museum class of 2008, wrestling observer best technical wrestler in 1989, wrestling observer match of the year in 1980 with ken patera

Ability to attract viewers: bob backlund was a solid draw on the same level of randy savage. Backlund was the top guy in the wwe after he defeated billy graham for the wwe championship and remained champion for more than 5 years until he was defeated by the iron sheik so that hulk hogan could become the top guy. Backlund was wwe champion and challenged for the wwe tag team championships with Pedro morales at the huge 1980 showdown at Shea. Some critics say that backlunds drawing power came from strong undercards featuring huge draws Bruno sammartino, Andre the giant and billy graham. In my opinion there is no denying backlunds drawing ability especially on the east coast and although he was not as big as sammartino and graham before him or hogan and cena after him backlund was still a big draw as champion for 5+ years.

Wrestling ability: bob backlund is one of the best technical wrestlers of all time in the same class as jericho, Eddie guerrero and Kurt angle. Backlund influenced many of the submission wrestlers that came after him like Kurt angle, Chris benoit and Daniel bryan. Backlunds best matches came against Greg valentine, Bret hart and sgt slaughter. Backlands had a great match with Bret hart at survivor series 1994 after the prime of his career was already over but his best match in my opinion was 14 years earlier in 1980 with sgt slaughter

Championships won: 1 time wwe tag team champion with Pedro morales, 2 time wwe champion, 1 time nwa Florida tag team champion with Steve keirn, 1 time nwa Georgia tag team champion with Jerry brisco, 3 time nwa western states heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa Missouri heavyweight champion, 1 time war world six man tag team champion with Scott putski and the warlord

Win/loss record: estimated 66% winning percentage (134 wins), 78% winning percentage in the wwwf days (14 wins)

21. Rey Mysterio

Actor | Ready to Rumble

Rey Mysterio was a professional wrestler for WCW who made his wrestling debut in Mexico. He dropped out of school to become a pro wrestler in Mexico. He is the nephew of wrestler Rey Misterio. He had a brief role (unmasked) as himself in Ready 2 Rumble. Came to WCW from ECW In 1996 after he debuted...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1989-present

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 2010, lightest world champion in wwe history, record tying 4 time wwe tag team champion, record 8 time wwe/wcw cruiserweight champion (5 in wcw, 3 in wwe), 21st wwe triple crown champion, 2006 royal rumble winner, aaa hall of fame class of 2007, number 4 of the 500 best singles wrestlers in 1999, number 56 of the 500 best wrestlers of the pwi years, wcw magazine match of the year in 1997 with Eddie guerrero, wrestling observer best flying wrestler in 1995-1997 and 2002-2004, wrestling observer best wrestling maneuver in 1995 for the west coast pop, wrestling observer match of the year in 1995 with edge vs Chris benoit and Kurt angle, wrestling observer most outstanding wrestler in 1996, wrestling observer rookie of the year in 1992, beat misterioso and eddie guerrero in mask matches, beat Eddie guerrero in a custody of Dominick match, beat Chris Jericho in a mask vs title match and beat cm punk in a mask vs hair match

Ability to attract viewers: Rey mysterio is a good draw in the same class of Chris Jericho. Rey is not a huge money maker but is still a big name that is popular around the world and near his hometown on the west coast. Rey is by no means a mega star like hogan, Austin or cena but he has consistently sold a ton of merchandise because he appeals to fans of all ages. Mysterios is a big merchandise seller and draws a lot of Hispanic and young viewers

Wrestling ability: Rey mysterio was a great wrestler in his prime and could still wrestle circles around most professional wrestlers even though numerous knee injuries have slowed him down. I consider mysterio to be in the same class as Chris Jericho in wrestling ability as well or maybe just slightly less than Jericho. Mysterio is the best high flyer of all time and the best wrestler of his size of all time as well. Rey mysterios best matches came against psychosis, Chris Jericho and his best match in my opinion came against Eddie guerrero in the championship vs mask match at Halloween havoc in 1997

Championships won: 5 time wcw cruiserweight champion, 1 time wcw cruiserweight tag team champion with billy Kidman, 3 time wcw world tag team champion with billy Kidman, konnan and juventud guerrera, 1 time wwe champion, 2 time world heavyweight champion, 2 time wwe intercontinental champion, 4 time wwe tag team champion with edge, rob van dam, Eddie guerrero and Batista, 3 time wwe cruiserweight champion, twenty first wwe triple crown champion, 1 time Mexican national trios champion with octagon and super muneco, 1 time Mexican national welterweight champion, 3 time wwa lightweight champion, 1 time wwa tag team champion with Rey misterio, 3 time wwa welterweight champion, 1 time wwc world junior heavyweight champion

Win/loss record: estimated 63% winning percentage (504 wins)

22. Buddy Rogers

Self | WWWF Championship Wrestling

Buddy Rogers was born on February 20, 1921 in Camden, New Jersey, USA. He died on June 22, 1992 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1939-1963

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 1994, inspired the next generation of wrestlers such as the natural butch reed and the nature boy ric flair who used Rogers nickname, look, attitude and his finisher the figure 4 leg lock, 2 time world heavyweight champion, first wwwf (now wwe) champion and the first person to hold both the wwe and nwa world titles, nwa hall of fame class of 2010, professional wrestling hall of fame and museum class of 2002, St. Louis wrestling hall of fame

Ability to attract viewers: buddy Rogers was a huge draw in his day. He based a lot of his gimmick from Gorgeous George and a lot of the great pretty boy bad guys later on based their gimmicks on Rogers. Ric flair idolized Rogers and took his nickname and finisher and ended up becoming an even better nature boy. Rogers was a hated heel in both Nwa and wwe and fans would attend events just to see him lose which didn't happen very often. Rogers was the innovator of many current holds such as the pile driver and the figure 4 leg lock which made matches more exciting and brought more fans each time he wrestled. Buddy Rogers is considered the first professional wrestling television star so he brought a whole new class of fans into wrestling.

Wrestling ability: buddy Rogers is considered one of the greatest workers of his time and innovated a whole slew of new moves and holds. The knock on Rogers was during the time was he was not considered a great mat wrestler. Overall Rogers was a good worker and way ahead of his own time. Rogers best matches were against Bruno sammartino whom he passed the "torch" to and his best match is usually considered to be his match against pat o Connor.

Championships won: 1 time wwwf world heavyweight champion, 2 time nwa United States tag team champion with Johnny valentine and johnny barend, 1 time nwa world heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa United States heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa mid America heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa world tag team champion with Ronnie etchison, 1 time nwa North American heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa Texas heavyweight champion, 4 time Texas heavyweight champion, 1 time Texas tag team champion with Otto kuss

Win/loss record: estimated 71% winning percentage (19 wins)

23. Chris Benoit

Actor | ECW November to Remember

Christopher Michael Benoit is a Canadian wrestler who was born in Montreal, Quebec, the son of Michael and Margaret Benoit. He grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, from where he was billed throughout the bulk of his career. He had a sister living near Edmonton.

During his 22-year career, Benoit worked for ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1985-2007

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 2003, one of four men to have held the big gold belt in both wcw and wwe, record tying 5 time wcw/wwe United States champion (3 times in wcw and 2 times in wwe), 12th wwe triple crown champion, 7th wcw triple crown champion, second person to win both wwe and wcw triple crown championships, 2004 royal rumble winner, one of two men to win the royal rumble as the number one entrant, main evented wrestlemania 20, super j cup winner in 1994, njpw best of the juniors in 1993 and 1995, pwi feud of the year in 2004 with triple h, pwi match of the year in 2004 with Shawn michaels and triple h, pwi wrestler of the year in 2004, number 1 of the 500 best singles wrestlers in 2004, number 69 of the top 500 best singles wrestlers of the pwi years, stampede wrestling hall of fame, wrestling observer 5 star match in 1994 with great sasuke, wrestling observer best brawler in 2004, wrestling observer feud of the year in 2004 with triple h and Shawn michaels, wrestling observer best technical wrestler in 1994, 1995, 2000, 2003 and 2004, wrestling observer most underrated in 1998, wrestling observer most outstanding wrestler in 2000 and 2004, wrestling observer match of the year in 2002 with Kurt angle vs edge and Rey mysterio, wrestling observer readers favorite wrestler in 1997 and 2000

Ability to attract viewers: Chris benoit was a good draw although less so than the legends that are ahead of him on this list. This is by far the category that benoit is weakest in. Chris benoit was a huge draw in Japan and defeated legends like jushin liger in great matches. Benoit was also a top guy in wcw from its bad times thru the good times until the second wave of bad times. He finally became the wcw world champion but left the company soon after. Fans came to watch benoit fight the top guys in any company because of his incredible in ring skills which made him able to pull a great match out of any wrestler.

Wrestling ability: in my opinion Chris benoit has the best wrestling ability of all time. Benoit was a technical genius that mix well with any style of wrestler and could make even the most limited wrestlers look great in the ring. The only wrestler that can keep up with benoit in this category in my opinion would dynamite kid who benoit was heavily influenced by. Benoit had a great match almost every time he stepped into the ring but some of his best came against Kurt angle. Every time benoit and angle wrestled the match became an instant classic because they are the two best wrestlers of their era. Benoit vs angle at royal rumble 2003 was one of the best matches ever and benoit received a standing ovation after losing to the heel angle cleanly. One match that is not as well known but may be even better is at spring stampede in 1999 when he teamed with another all time great in ring worker dean malenko to face raven and perry Saturn. In my opinion Chris benoits best match of all time came against great sasuke in the super j cup in 1994

Championships won: 1 time ecw world tag team champion with dean malenko, 2 time wcw United States heavyweight champion, 1 time wcw world heavyweight champion, 2 time wcw world tag team champion with dean malenko and perry Saturn, 3 time wcw world television champion, seventh wcw triple crown champion, 1 time world heavyweight champion, 1 time wwe tag team champion with Kurt angle, 3 time wwe United States champion, 4 time wwe intercontinental champion, 3 time wwe world tag team champion with edge twice and Chris Jericho, twelfth wwe triple crown champion, 1 time cwa world tag team champion with dave Taylor, 1 time iwgp junior heavyweight champion, 4 time stampede British commonwealth mid heavyweight champion, 4 time stampede wrestling international tag team champion with Ben bassarab, Keith hart, lance idol and biff Wellington, 1 time wwf light heavyweight champion

Win/loss record: estimated 61% winning percentage (518 wins), 66% winning percentage in wcw (189 wins)

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1970-1987

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 2004, revolutionized the interview and physique aspects of the industry, influenced hulk hogan, Jesse ventura and rid flair, pwi most hated wrestler of the year in 1973, pwi match of the year in 1977 with Bruno sammartino and in 1978 with bob backlund, number 227 of the 500 best singles wrestlers in the pwi years, professional wrestling hall of fame and museum class of 2009, slammy award for hulk hogan real American in 1987, wrestling observer best pro wrestling book in 2006

Ability to attract viewers: superstar billy graham was a solid draw for the wwe in between the sammartino and backlund eras. Graham held the wwe title for about 1 year and used his incredible physique and feats of strength to draw viewers. Graham was also used his great mic skills to draw crowds and was one of the first wrestlers to have the gift of huge muscles and the gift of gab both which attracted many fans to see if the man who dethroned the great Bruno sammartino could be beaten. Billy graham was the first best heel in wwe history at the time when bob backlund beat him for the wwe championship. With his outrageous outfits, incredible physique and mic skills graham was way ahead of his own time and influenced many future wrestlers including the best of all time, hulk hogan who is almost a carbon copy of graham.

Wrestling ability: billy Graham's wrestling ability is on the same level of Bruno sammartino and Antonio inoki. Graham was never had the most in ring ability but used his showmanship to have great matches. Graham had great matches with Ivan putski but his best match of all time in my opinion was against Bruno sammartino in their wwwf championship rematch in 1977 which was a draw so graham retained his title

Championships won: 1 time wwwf champion, 2 time nwa Florida heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa Florida tag team champion with ox baker, 1 time nwa southern heavyweight champion, 1 time cwa world heavyweight champion, 1 time iwa world heavyweight champion, 3 time nwa brass knuckles champion, 1 time nwa Hawaii heavyweight champion, 2 time nwa world tag team champion with pat Patterson

Win/loss record: estimated 61% winning percentage (32 wins), 78% winning percentage (14 wins) in the wwf days

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1975-1994

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 2006, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 2010, held 30 major championships, first wwf North American champion and million dollar champion and created the latter title, purchased the wwe title from Andre the giant but this reign is not recognized as an official reign, worlds strongest tag determination league in 1985 with Stan Hansen, pwi most hated wrestler of the year in 1982, number 17 of the top 500 singles wrestlers in 1991, number 32 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the pwi years, number 20 of the top 100 tag teams of the pwi years with Steve Williams, professional wrestling hall of fame class of 2007, king of the ring winner in 1988, slammy award for humanitarian of the year in 1987, wrestling observer best gimmick in 1987, wrestling observer best heel in 1987 and 1988, wrestling observer best technical wrestler in 1981, wrestling observer feud of the year in 1982 with junkyard dog and in 1985 with Jim duggan

Vince McMahon, Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer of WWE, Inc. (WWE), is a third-generation promoter who has made WWE into the global phenomenon it is today.

As a pioneer in the television syndication business, a recognized television personality throughout the world, a visionary ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1969-present

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, chairman and CEO of wwe, 1999 royal rumble winner, professional wrestling hall of fame and museum class of 2011, pwi feud of the year in 1995 with Eric bischoff, in 1998 and 1999 with Steve Austin and in 2001 with Shane McMahon, pwi match of the year in 2006 with Shawn michaels, wrestling observer best booker in 1987, 1998 and 1999, wrestling observer best non wrestler in 1999 and 2000, wrestling observer best promoter in 1988 and 1998-2000, wrestling observer feud of the year in 1998 and 1999 with stone cold Steve Austin, cover of muscle and fitness in 2006, honorary doctor of humane letters degree from sacred heart university, star on the Hollywood walk of fame

Ability to attract viewers: Vince McMahon as a character is actually a big draw. In the 1990's his evil mr McMahon character was a big part of winning the Monday night wars with wcw. Obviously the fans tuned in to see Steve Austin but the reason they did so in such huge numbers was because of his great feud with mr McMahon. The Austin vs McMahon feud is one of the best and most watched feuds in professional wrestling history. Without the mr McMahon character wwe may not have skyrocketed ahead of rival wcw. In fact mr McMahon is one of the best heel characters of all time up there with billy graham and buddy Rogers.

Wrestling ability: Vince has the worst wrestling ability of anyone on this list but he has had a few very good matches. In his younger days Vince wanted to become a pro wrestler his his father Vincent j McMahon would not allow it. Vince mcmahons best matches are usually bloody brawls and Vince usually ends up on the losing end. Vince's best matches came against Shane McMahon, Steve Austin and his best match in my opinion was against Shawn michaels at wrestlemania 22. This was a surprisingly great match and maybe the best match on the card only rivaled by edge vs mick foley

Championships won: 1 time ecw world champion, 1 time wwe champion

Win/loss record: estimated 47% winning percentage (29 wins), 52% winning percentage in the wwe days (17 wins)

31. Richard Blood

Actor | WWWF Championship Wrestling

Retired American professional wrestler of Japanese descent as Ricky Steamboat. He trained under Verne Gagne, and first made his name in the old Mid-Atlantic territory in the Carolinas. He had many legendary matches and feuds with Ric Flair, culminating in their epic "Holy Trilogy" of matches at WCW...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1976-present

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 2009, nwa hall of fame class of 2012, pwi match of the year in 1987 with macho man randy savage and in 1989 with ric flair, pwi most inspirational wrestler of the year in 2009, pwi rookie of the year in 1977, pwi Stanley Weston award in 1995, pwi tag team of the year in 1987 with Paul jones, number 6 of the 500 best singles wrestlers in 1992, number 13 of the 500 best singles wrestlers of the pwi years, number 19 of the 100 best tag teams of the pwi years with jay Youngblood, professional wrestling hall of fame and museum class of 2002, wrestling observer 5 star match in 1989 with ric flair three times, wrestling observer tag team of the year in 1983 with jay Youngblood, wrestling observer match of the year in 1987 with randy savage and in 1989 with ric flair

Ability to attract viewers: Ricky steamboat is not a proven top draw. With that said his feud with ric flair for the nwa/wcw championship did draw fans. Critics will say this is because of flair but while flair was a huge draw not all of feuds drew huge numbers. Steamboats quest to win a well deserved world title was a big reason that fans came to see their matches which were all classics. The dragon was never given a chance to be the top guy in wwe or nwa/wcw because these companies had hogan and flair respectively who were the biggest stars in each companies history and would go on to become the two best of all time. With all that said I do believe steamboat is the best wrestler to never win the wwe championship and could have had a great run but he was great in an era when wrestling was booming and there were just other bigger stars that got the big push instead.

Wrestling ability: Ricky steamboat is one of the best in ring wrestlers of all time and could still have great matches today even at an advanced age. Just a few years ago steamboat had a great match with a man who idolized him, Chris Jericho. Some of steamboats many great matches came against lex Luger, randy savage and countless great matches with ric flair. Every time flair and steamboat stepped into the ring they had great matches but the best of the great matches in my opinion was at clash of the champions in 1989 for the nwa world heavyweight championship. This match is sometimes called the best match on free television of all time as it was a 54 minute classic 2 out of 3 falls match.

Championships won: 2 time nwa mid Atlantic heavyweight champion, 4 time nwa Atlantic tag team champion with Paul jones 3 times and jay Youngblood, 4 time wcw United States heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa world heavyweight champion, 8 time wcw world tag team champion with jay Youngblood 5 times, Paul jones, Dustin Rhodes and Shane Douglas, 4 time wcw world television champion, 1 time wwe intercontinental champion, 1 time nwa United States heavyweight champion (mid Atlantic version)

Win/loss record: estimated 68% winning percentage (100 wins), 82% winning percentage in the wwf days (69 wins)

33. Terry Funk

Actor | Road House

Funk has strong wrestling bloodlines. His dad, Dory Funk Sr., was a well-known grappler from the 1940s to the 1970s, and his brother, Dory Funk Jr., wrestled from 1963 until the early 90s, and won the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) world heavyweight championship in 1969. Funk, himself, became ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1965-present

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 2009, inspired many young wrestlers with his hardcore style such as mick foley, only person inducted into the wwe, wcw, professional wrestling, nwa, hardcore, stampede, wrestling observer and St. Louis wrestling halls of fame, ajpw worlds strongest tag determination league in 1977, 1979 and 1982 with dory funk jr, pwi feud of the year in 1989 with ric flair, pwi most inspirational wrestler of the year in 1997, pwi wrestler of the year in 1976, number 22 of the top 500 singles wrestlers in 1991, number 22 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the pwi years, number 9 of the top 100 tag teams of the pwi years, wrestling observer 5 star match in 1984 with dory funk jr vs bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen and in 1989 with ric flair, wrestling observer best brawler in 1989, wrestling observer best heel in 1989, wrestling observer best on interviews in 1989, wrestling observer feud of the year in 1989 with ric flair

Ability to attract viewers: terry funk was a good draw for many years in the nwa but he was a huge draw in Japan. His feud with ric flair attracted a lot of viewers and was one of the greatest feuds of all time. Funk was also a huge draw in and around his home state of texas. In my opinion terry funk is the best wrestler to never hold a wwe championship or intercontinental championship.

Wrestling ability: terry funk was a good wrestler who revolutionized the bloody brawling and hardcore styles in professional wrestling. He was a huge influence for fellow legend mick foley. What makes the funker a better in ring worker than foley was that he could have a good traditional style wrestling match or a classic violent brawl. Funk is coming up on 50 years as a professional wrestler and has been through more wars anyone. Funks best matches came against Jerry lawler, jumbo tsuruta and in my opinion his best match was the classic I quit match against ric flair in 1989 at clash of the champions 9

Championships won: 1 time ecw television champion, 2 time ecw world heavyweight champion, 2 time wcw hardcore champion, 2 time wcw United States heavyweight champion, 1 time wwe world tag team champion with cactus jack, 1 time nwa Florida heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa Florida tag team champion with dory funk jr, 1 time nwa Florida television champion, 1 time nwa North American tag team champion with dory funk jr, 2 time nwa southern heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa world heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa Georgia tag team champion with dory funk jr, 1 time nwa Georgia television champion, 2 time iwa world heavyweight champion, 1 time jcw heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa americas heavyweight champion, 3 time nwa international tag team champion with dory funk jr, 1 time nwa world tag team champion with dory funk jr, 2 time nwa brass knuckles champion, 7 time nwa western states heavyweight champion, 2 time western states tag team champion with Ricky Romero, 2 time nwa world tag team champion (Texas version) with dory funk jr, 1 time 3pw world heavyweight champion, 1 time scw southwest heavyweight champion, 1 time scw world tag team champion with dory funk jr, 1 time nwa Missouri heavyweight champion, 1 time uswa unified world heavyweight champion

Win/loss record: estimated 56% winning percentage (123 wins), 65% winning percentage in ecw (37 wins)

34. Harley Race

Actor | WWWF Championship Wrestling

Harley Race is one of the foremost legends of professional wrestling. He is an 8-time NWA Heavyweight Champion and has held numerous other titles over his career that has spanned four decades.

Harley won his first NWA World Title in Kansas City in 1973 when he defeated Dory Funk Jr. Harley feels ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1960-2013

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 2004, first nwa United States heavyweight champion, one of six men inducted into the wwe, wcw, professional wrestling and wrestling observer halls of fame, Missouri sports hall of fame class of 2013, nwa hall of fame class of 2005, pwi match of the year in 1973 with dory funk jr, in 1979 with dusty Rhodes and in 1983 with ric flair, pwi Stanley Weston award in 2006, pwi wrestler of the year in 1979 and 1983, number 8 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the pwi years, stampede wrestling hall of fame, St. Louis wrestling hall of fame class of 2007, 1986 king of the ring winner, slammy award for best ring apparel in 1987, slammy award for bobby the brain heenan scholarship award in 1987 with haku, tama, Andre the giant, Hercules and King Kong bundy, wrestling observer wrestler of the year in 1980 and 1981, wrestling observer match of the year in 1983 with ric flair

Ability to attract viewers: Harley race was a big draw in the 70's and 80's for nwa. Race was the top guy in the nwa before ric flair and eventually passed the torch to flair. Race is probably comparable to bob backlund in this category.

Wrestling ability: Harley race was a great in ring worker probably in the same class as the underrated triple h. Race innovated the diving headbutt which all time in ring greats like dynamite kid and Chris benoit would go on to use. Race was also a very strong competitor and body slammed Andre the giant before hulk hogan famously body slammed him at wrestlemania 3. Race was also a legitimately tough guy who was well respected backstage. Race had a few great matches with ric flair, Ted dibiase and in my opinion his best match is the forgotten brutal Texas death match with hulk hogan

Championships won: wwe king of the ring winner in 1986, 1 time nwa united national champion, 2 time nwa world heavyweight champion, 1 time pwf world heavyweight champion, 3 time awa world tag team champion with Larry hennig, 9 time nwa central states heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa North American tag team champion with roger Kirby, 3 time nwa Florida tag team champion with roger Kirby twice and bob roop, 1 time nwa southern heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa United States heavyweight champion, 2 time nwa mid America heavyweight champion, 1 time iw North American heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa Georgia heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa Macon tag team champion with buddy colt, 7 time nwa Missouri heavyweight champion, 1 time stampede North American heavyweight champion, 1 time iwa world tag team champion with Larry hennig, 1 time wwa world heavyweight champion, 1 time wwc Caribbean heavyweight champion

35. Lou Thesz

Actor | Roddy Piper's Greatest Hits

Lou Thesz is one of wrestling's living legends. Thesz started wrestling in the 1930s, and from the 1930s to the 1960s, he was one of the most dominant figures in the business. Thesz won his first World Heavyweight Title in the 1930s, and went on to become a 6-time World Heavyweight Champion, many ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1939-1990

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, held the nwa championship for a combined 10 years 3 months and 9 days (3749 days) which is the longest in history, invented many wrestling techniques, Missouri sports hall of fame class of 2002, nwa hall of fame class of 2005, pwi Stanley Weston award in 1982, professional wrestling hall of fame class of 2002, stampede wrestling hall of fame, St. Louis wrestling hall of fame class of 2007, wcw hall of fame class of 1993

Ability to attract viewers: Lou thesz was a huge draw in his day and sold out arenas all over the world. He is one of the first big stars of professional wrestling and a legendary tough guy. Theszs drawing power can be compared to Bruno sammartino but thesz may have had even been more of an attraction than Bruno. Thesz was one of the biggest draws in the 1940's and 1950's along with buddy Rogers.

Wrestling ability: Lou thesz was considered a great wrestler in his day and the best of his era. Thesz used the mat based style that was popular in those days. Thesz was also a legitimate tough guy known as a hooker. If an opponent that was supposed to lose refused to do so thesz could simply stretch that wrestler into submission. Theszs best matches came against Antonio inoki, rikidozan and his best match in my opinion was against Antonio rocca in 1963

Championships won: 1 time awa world heavyweight champion (Boston version), 1 time awa world heavyweight champion (Ohio version), 1 time nwa international heavyweight champion, 4 time nwa world heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa pacific coast tag team champion with the outlaw, 2 time nwa southern junior heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa southern tag team champion with Jackie Fargo, 1 time uwa world heavyweight champion, 1 time wwa world heavyweight champion, 2 time world heavyweight champion

Win/loss record: estimated 0% winning percentage (0 wins and 2 losses)

36. Giant Baba

Actor | AWA All-Star Wrestling

Deceased Japanese professional wrestler and promoter as Giant Baba who was best known for his long career as the top star for his own All Japan Pro Wrestling. He and Antonio Inoki were the two protégés of Rikidôzan. After Rikidôzan's death, Baba went on a tour of the U.S. and had a series of ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1960-1998

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, co founder of all Japan pron wrestling, ajpw champion carnival winner in 1973, 1974, 1975, 1977, 1978, 1981 and 1982, worlds strongest tag determination league winner in 1978 and 1980 with jumbo tsuruta, number 10 of the 100 greatest tag teams of the pwi years with jumbo tsuruta, number 26 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the pwi years, professional wrestling hall of fame and museum class of 2008, wrestling observer 5 star match in 1994 with misuharu misawa and kenta kobashi vs masanobu fuchi, akira taue and toshiaki kawada, wrestling observer best booker in 1989-1991, wrestling observer promoter of the year in 1990-1994

Ability to attract viewers: giant baba was the biggest star in Japan next to Antonio inoki. He was the second biggest draw in Japan for 30 years and if Antonio inoki is the hulk hogan of Japan then giant baba is the ric flair of Japan in that he is second best of all time in Japan. Baba was actually a bigger star than inoki in the mid sixties but inoki left and started his own promotion and became a bigger star than the giant.

Wrestling ability: giant baba is considered a great wrestler for his size. Overall babas wrestling skill is about equal to the undertakers. Baba was considered a better wrestler than the other giant superstar of his era Andre the giant because of his mat skills despite his size although he was not as big of a world wide draw as Andre. Like many other wrestlers babas skill dropped off in his later years but stuck around because of his immense popularity. Babas best matches came against jack brisco, mark lewin and in my opinion his best match was with fellow Japanese legend Antonio inoki in a tag team championship match against Tarzan Tyler and bill watts in a match that the Japanese legends won.

Championships won: 1 time ajpw all Asia heavyweight champion, 6 time nwa international tag team champion (ajpw version) with jumbo tsuruta, 3 time nwa world heavyweight champio, 4 time pwf world heavyweight champion, 3 time jwa all Asia tag team champion with toyonobori, nwa international heavyweight champion, 6 time nwa international tag team champion (jwa version) with Antonio inoki 4 times, michiaki yoshimura and seiji sakaguchi, 1 time nwa world tag team champion with jumbo tsuruta

Win/loss record: estimated 70% winning percentage (91 wins)

37. Verne Gagne

An amateur and professional wrestling legend, Verne Gagne's career covers the entire period of wrestling from the "real" to "fake" to "entertainment" eras. Gagne won two NCAA wrestling championships while at the University of Minnesota, and was a member of the 1948 Olympic Wrestling team for the ...

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1949-1981

Historical significance: inducted into the wrestling observer hall of fame in 1996, inducted into the wwe hall of fame in 2006, 16 time world heavyweight champion, most combined days as a world champion, third longest single title reign of all time, one of six men in the wwe, wcw, professional wrestling and wrestling observer halls of fame, pwi Stanley Weston award in 1986, number 158 of the 500 best singles wrestlers of the pwi years

Ability to attract viewers: Verne gagne was one of the biggest draws in his day comparable to Harley race and Lou thesz in their times. Gagne was second to thesz in his early nwa days and formed the awa when he left. Gagne was the top guy in his awa promotion for twenty years but was against two giant companies in wwe and nwa/wcw. The upper mid card title was supposedly created in nwa so gagne could have a championship while keeping Lou thesz as the world champion

Wrestling ability: Verne gagne is considered a great in ring wrestler on the same level as Lou thesz. Gagne like thesz was an old school mat wrestler and hooker although considered slightly below thesz in all of these areas. Gagnes best matches were against Jesse ventura, Adrian Adonis and his best match in my opinion was against nick bockwinkel

Championships won: 1 time iwa world heavyweight champion, 2 time nwa United States champion, 1 time nwa world tag team champion (chicago version) with edouard carpentier, 10 time awa world heavyweight champion, 4 time awa world tag team champion with moose Evans, the crusher, billy Robinson and mad dog vachon, 4 time nwa world tag team champion (minneapolis version) with Leo nomellini twice, bronko nagurski and butch levy, 5 time world heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa world junior heavyweight champion, 2 time nwa Texas heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa world tag team champion (Texas version) with Wilbur Snyder

Ability to attract viewers: dory funk jr was a big draw in the nwa before the Harley race era. Dory is one of the biggest draws as nwa champion usually behind ric flair and Lou thesz. When dory funk defeated gene kiniski in 1969 the nwa world championship reached a high point in its drawing power and dory became a huge draw and one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling in the 1970's.

Wrestling ability: dory funk jr is considered one of the best in ring wrestlers of all time. Dory was a superior in ring worker to his legendary brother terry funk although terry was better at the brawling style. Dory was a great technical wrestler who innovated the Texas cloverleaf submission. Dory had countless great matches but his best work came against Kevin and David Von Erich in a tag team match teaming with his brother terry funk, cyclone negro and his best match in my opinion was his 1974 classic 2 out of 3 falls match in Japan with jack brisco which ended in a 1 fall to 1 draw.

Championships won: 2 time nwa international heavyweight champion, 4 time nwa Florida heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa Florida tag team champion with terry funk, 2 time nwa Florida television champion, 2 time nwa North American tag team champion with terry funk and David Von Erich, 1 time cwa world heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa Georgia tag team champion with terry funk, 1 time icw heavyweight champion, 2 time nwa mid Atlantic heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa world heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa americas heavyweight champion, 3 time nwa international tag team champion with terry funk, 1 time nwa world tag team champion (los angeles version) with terry funk, 2 time nwa brass knuckles champion, 1 time nwa North American heavyweight champion, 6 time nwa western states tag team champion with Ricky Romero twice, the super destroyer twice, ray candy and Larry lane, 2 time nwa world tag team champion (Texas version) with terry funk, 1 time scw world tag team champion with terry funk, 1 time nwa Missouri heavyweight champion, 1 time nwa international tag team champion (Calgary version) with Larry lane, 1 time wwc Puerto Rico heavyweight champion, 1 time wwc universal heavyweight champion, 1 time wwc world tag team champion with terry funk

Length of time spent in wrestling: 1965-1985

Ability to attract viewers: jack brisco was a big draw during his days as nwa world champion. Brisco won the title from Harley race who was a transitional champion after defeating dory funk jr. ending the most successful world title reign in terms of drawing powers. It is said that dory was supposed to put brisco over cleanly but dory funk sr. would not allow his son to lose the brisco so they had Harley race beat dory. Briscos reign was still put butts in the seats though as he is considered one of the biggest drawing nwa champions ever. Briscos feud with dory funk jr is considered one of the best ever. The two men sold out arenas all over the world wrestling to 60 minute draws.

Wrestling ability: jack brisco is considered an all time great in ring worker comparable to his biggest rival dory funk jr. Brisco is one of the best technical wrestlers of all time and wrestled in the nwa in a time when the top guys were all great mat wrestlers which made for good matches.
