Acting Talent
by Film_Philiac1138 | created - 24 Aug 2013 | updated - 15 Sep 2013 | PublicThese are the actors and actresses I'd love to work with, though I know it is likely I'll never have the chance with some of them.
1. Jennifer Lawrence
Actress | The Hunger Games
As the highest-paid actress in the world in 2015 and 2016, and with her films grossing over $5.5 billion worldwide, Jennifer Lawrence is often cited as the most successful actress of her generation. She is also the first person born in the 1990s to have won an acting Oscar.
Jennifer Shrader Lawrence...
Jennifer has starred in only a handful of films, but her resume is the most impressive of any 23-year-old. Her onscreen talent is simply mesmerizing to watch, her every action bringing you closer to her character. If I had the funds to hire 1 Hollywood star, I'd move mountains to get Jennifer Lawrence.
2. Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Actor | Inception
Joseph Leonard Gordon-Levitt was born February 17, 1981 in Los Angeles, California, to Jane Gordon and Dennis Levitt. Joseph was raised in a Jewish family with his late older brother, Dan Gordon-Levitt, who passed away in October 2010. His parents worked for the Pacifica Radio station KPFK-FM and ...
Joseph is one of the most natural actors I've ever seen. While there isn't much of a variance in the characters he's portrayed, he's given each of them just enough of a unique spin to make each of them their own person. With the funds to cast two big names, I'd put Joseph Gordon-Levitt with Jennifer Lawrence. I think they'd make a sweet pair.
3. Zach Braff
Actor | Garden State
Zach Braff was born and raised in South Orange, New Jersey, to Anne Hutchinson (Maynard), a clinical psychologist, and Harold Irwin Braff, a trial attorney. His father is from Russia and Austria, while Zach's mother is from a family with deep roots in New England. Zach attended Columbia High School...
While Zach had his debut as a very, very minor role in Woody Allen's Manhattan Murder Mystery, he made the world fall either in utter love or hate with him through his portrayal of Dr. John. "J.D." Dorian in the smash hit NBC medical comedy-drama Scrubs. Personally, I love Zach's honest acting and heartfelt line delivery. Given his age, I'd happily cast him as an eccentric mentor character, like The Doctor.
4. Stephen Colbert

Stephen Tyrone Colbert (pronounced "cole-BEAR") was born on May 13, 1964 in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. He is the son of Lorna Elizabeth (Tuck) and James William Colbert, Jr., a doctor and medical school dean at Yale, Saint Louis University, and MUSC. He is the ...
Watch one episode of his Emmy-winning program and you'll see just how much of a comic genius Stephen Colbert truly is. He'd be brilliant in a comedy film done in the style of ZAZ, but I can't help but feel as though with the right script and direction, he'd be equally as brilliant in a dramatic role.
5. Michael C. Hall
Actor | Dexter
Michael C. Hall was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, to Janice (Styons), a guidance counselor, and William Carlyle Hall, who worked for IBM. Michael is a graduate of NYU's Master of Fine Arts program in acting. He is known for the titular character "Dexter" in Dexter (2006) and as mortician "David ...
Michael first came to prominence with his portrayal of David Fisher in the HBO series Six Feet Under. He then launched himself into stardom with the super successful Showtime series Dexter, in which Hall plays the eponymous character. While I don't believe he'd much an action hero, I'd place Hall in any one of the dramas I'd love to write. And I think it'd be a real pleasure to see him as a villain!
6. Zooey Deschanel
Actress | New Girl
Zooey Deschanel was born in 1980 into a showbiz family. Her father, Caleb Deschanel, is an Academy Award-nominated cinematographer (perhaps most notably for The Passion of the Christ (2004)) and her mother, Mary Jo Deschanel (née Weir), is an actress who appeared in Twin Peaks (1990). Her paternal ...
Zooey is as talented as she is beautiful. Even though I've loved her in everything I've seen, especially her portrayal of the titular character in (500) Days of Summer, I don't think anyone's really let Zooey shine. I'd love to be the one who directs her to give the performance of her career.
