The Emmy winner sang alongside her oldest on “Can You Stand the Rain” by New Edition following his solo of “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson with Bruno Mars. Dominic initially tipped off the players by saying he was worried about forgetting the lyrics. A nod to Nash-Betts’ hosting gig of Don’t Forget the Lyrics. Soccer great Carli Lloyd definitely questioned her decision when she arrived for the filming of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test for Fox. There wasn’t any time to prepare for the extreme heat and effort required to perform quasi-military training exercises for the entertainment of TV viewers.
“I didn’t even understand fully what I was getting into until after the contract was signed,” Lloyd said during a panel with fellow contestants Hannah Brown and Kenya Moore at Deadline’s Contenders Television: Documentary + Unscripted event. “And then once the little snippets of what we were up against came through, I had a little second-guessing. “I never get anything right! I got one!” a dumbfounded Ken Jeong exclaimed at the end of Wednesday’s second episode of “The Masked Singer” Season 9. Magic struck when the notoriously bad guesser correctly named Howie Mandel as the secret celebrity hiding inside the Rock Lobster costume. Ken was the only panelist who got it right; Jennifer McCarthy Wahlberg and Nicole Scherzinger both went with Martin Short, while Robin Thicke picked Steve-o.
Ken chose Howie because of two clues in particular: the judge’s gavel (referring to his recurring stint on “America’s Got Talent”) and the hospital scrubs (a reference to his role on “St. Elsewhere”). “This is someone who is a legendary comedian — someone who is one of my influences,” Ken stated emphatically after the red crustacean screeched out “S.O.S.” by Abba while running around the stage as if he was being boiled.

Two of the subjects of the new Netflix sports documentary The Redeem Team, Dwyane Wade and Dwight Howard, appeared at a special screening of the film. Other former members of the team besides Bryant included Wade, Howard, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James. Jamie Lynn Spears, Kate Gosselin and Mel B are among the 16 celebrity contestants competing on Fox’s new reality competition, “Special Forces: The Ultimate Test”, it was announced Wednesday.
“Special Forces: The Ultimate Test”, slated for a January 2023 premiere, is being described as “the ultimate celebrity social experiment.” The competition series, which will not have formal eliminations, finds the celebrities enduring “the harshest, most grueling challenges from the playbook of the actual Special Forces selection process,” according to Fox. The only way for the celebrity recruits to leave is to go on their own accord, whether through failure or injury or by force.
Joining Spears, Gosselin and Mel B in the celebrity cast are Danny Amendola, former “Bachelorette” Hannah Brown, Tyler Florence, Dwight Howard, Montell Jordan, Gus Kenworthy, Nastia Liukin, Carli Lloyd, “7th Heaven”‘s Beverley Mitchell, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”‘s Kenya Moore, Mike Piazza, Dr. Drew Pinsky and Anthony Scaramucci.
