Stars: Summer Bellessa, Eugene Byrd, Michael Beach, Asenneth del Toro, Anthony Ruivivar, Kasia Pilewicz, Jamie McShane | Written by Kerry Bellessa, Joshua Oram | Directed by Kerry Bellessa
Immanence, the new film from director Kerry Bellessa and co-writer Joshua Oram, the team who gave us Amber Alert, begins on a dark and abandoned boat. As we hear the search and rescue team searching for the crew we see a silent figure appear and then disappear. Then the film flashes back to the start of the story.
Naomi (Summer Bellessa; Funny Thing About Love) and her team are looking for proof of extraterrestrial life. When a meteorite lands somewhere in The Bermuda Triangle and starts emitting strange signals they think they may have discovered what they were looking for.
They rent a boat owned by Davis and captained by a man named Jonah, a name which should have had them running in the other direction.

News on a new adaptation of Hedda Gabler, a new film about the Kray brothers, and more.
Aspect on board for Hedda Gabler
Aspect Film has taken on worldwide sales rights to Matthew John’s new period drama adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s classic play Hedda Gabler, currently in post. Rita Ramnani [pictured] takes the lead role, with the cast also including Jon-Paul Gates, Samantha Hunt, David Butler and Francisco Ortiz. Aspect Film’s Managing Director, Hugh Edwards said, “Matthew John has tackled an Ibsen classic with aplomb. To do so as a debutant director and achieve what he has deserves credit. John has pushed the envelope and it will be interesting to see the reaction from both Ibsen purists and newcomers to the Hedda Gabler story alike.” The film was shot at Maunsel House in Somerset, owned by Sir Benjamin Slade, who also executive produces the film.

Ah, yet another cycle of America's Next Top Model comes to a close.
The season finale saw Brittani and Molly competing for the top position. Molly seemed to have the edge going into the episode after a winning streak of three first call-outs. Meanwhile, Brittani was quite nervous and teary during the majority of the episode, despite nailing her CoverGirl commercial through her fears. So, who won the title of America's Next Top Model? Read on to find out!
CoverGirl:
Before their CoverGirl commercial and print ad, Brittani and Molly meet with Ivan Bart, the head of Img. Both girls impress the boss with their looks and portfolio, but he seems to prefer Brittani's attitude to Molly's angry yet professional vibe.
The CoverGirl product du jour is "Lip Perfection Lip Color." The girls will have a teleprompter - which doesn't necessarily result in better commercials in the Antm...

It's international destination time on America's Next Top Model and the remaining five girls are off to Morocco! Brittani is determined to "kick some ass", while Alexandria "feels positive" after her recent best picture finish. Molly, however, is still "p*ssed" at being in the bottom two, acknowledging that she has anger issues. The girls arrive in Marrakech and take a trip through the local market where they encounter the Jays, who reveal the girls will be treated to a traditional Moroccan lunch and fashion tour of the city. Over lunch, Brittani says that she's from a less fortunate family so Top Model is her only chance to succeed in the industry; Hannah doesn't want to fade into the background; and Kasia says that the other girls don't see her as competition because she is plus-size. They later meet Andre at a villa (more)...

Cycle 16 of America’s Next Top Model is already winding down to the finale. It seems like only yesterday that we started hating on Alexandria, who’s fast proving to be a finale contender for the title of America’s Next Top Model's 16th edition.
In "Franca Sozzani," the models shot in exotic Morocco with a camel! Let’s break it down.
The Challenge:
The girls first arrive at Marrakech, which looks like an amazing Arabian Nights-esqe backdrop, complete with snake charmers and pretty cute monkeys.
The girls are treated to delicious little treats and taken to a local Marrekech designer with Andre Leon Talley where they’re promptly asked to walk in haute couture outfits. The designs are earthy and reminiscent of the desert; perfect for Marrekech.
The first disaster in Morocco strikes as Kasia can’t find a dress to fit her.
Despite being disappointed, they find...

Reese Witherspoon may be the new Mrs. Jim Toth, but she was on another man's arm during Sunday's (Apr. 17) "Water for Elephants" premiere in New York City.
Witherspoon and co-star Robert Pattinson posed on the red carpet together looking beautiful as ever. In true Pattinson form, he appears to be mega-uncomfortable in front of the flashing bulbs.
Also at the premiere was Julia Stiles, "America's Next Top Model's" Kasia Pilewicz and Pattinson's sisters, Lizzy and Victoria. Noticeably absent was star Tai the elephant, which we imagine the actor was not pleased about.

Another week, another opportunity for high drama here at Cycle 16 of "America’s Next Top Model." Like a cockroach, Alexandria survives still, even after the nuclear meltdown she caused by way of archenemy Brittani. Before Brittani’s dressing down at the last panel, she was a model to beat in this competition. But at this moment, stealthy competitors such as Kasia are starting to look pretty darned good over here. [Full recap of Wednesday's (April 13) "America's Next Top Model" after the break...] “I can’t go hooooooome,” Brittani weeps in the confessional She and Alexandria hug it out in...

So, she may be going to Harvard, but Tyra Banks isn't the quickest study. This week on "America's Next Top Model," a second guest judge gave a less than glowing report of Alexandria on-set and Tyra finally realized sanctions must be placed on the Orange County-sized ego.
Before that, she sent Miss J. to do her dirty work in this week's first challenge. Continuing this season's ridiculously made for TV challenges, she sent the girls down a fiery runway. No one literally crashed and burned, but that would've made for one hell of a promo tease.
Dalya, who proclaimed herself the strongest walker, actually made good on her word. By the way, did we mention this episode's theme is confidence?
Hannah, Sarah, and Kasia, the three worst runway walkers, had to hoof it home as their punishment. Overall, this season has some pretty strong walkers, right? Every season has the wobblers,...

['America's Next Top Model' - 'Francesco Carrozzini']
This week on 'America's Next Top Model' the girls walked in a Gregory Mac fashion show on a runway that was on fire! Ok, the actual runway wasn't completely on fire, but there were flames everywhere. To make matters that much more ridiculous, the models had to wear gloves that were then set on fire!
Color me clueless, but there's no way I would walk down a runway with my hands on fire; fire resistant gloves or not. Some of the models nailed it, while other's not so much, but it was Dalya who stood out in Ms. Jay's mind and she won two awesome Geoffrey Mac dresses. But, Hannah, Kasia, and Sara didn't do so hot and in a random twist were forced to walk home as punishment!

I’d like to start off this review over Wednesday’s fantastic episode of Top Model with a moment of silence for Alexandria’s dearly departed roots.
...
Okay, are you guys ready to soldier on?
Apparently Top Model has up and decided to become a pretty legit modeling competition because “Lori Goldstein” packed everything I love about the show into a fun hour of television. It was makeovers galore and while there wasn’t an ice blonde or nervous breakdown in sight, it was nice to really see who’ll be in the running for the rest of the season. The best makeovers (courtesy of Laurent D.) were Brittani’s Dutch Boy (at first it looked a little wiggy but it read beautifully elsewhere), Jaclyn’s grown-up Selena Gomez bed of curls, and the discovery that Hannah is actually Blake Lively (yowza!), with Dominique’s Rihanna inspired weave also significantly improving her appearance.
