Just another Billy the Kid movie showing him to be a basically decent sort, but to quick with a revolver. After a run in with the local law, Billy goes on the lam but is saved by amnesty. However, things conspired against the young lad forcing him to go head to head with his friend, Pat Garrett. I just love the way Hollywood hires some handsome actor to make Billy appear to be a nice kid who happened to fall in with a bad lot and not what he really was, a murderous psycho. Good old Uncle Jessie was more trigger happy the The Kid. Fairly good western, but nothing special.
