What was worse? The acting, the directing, or the editing? I really liked the nice stroll onto the beach during an the initial assault. Don't worry about the enemy on the island, forget about those artillery shells. It was like the special marine corps slacker brigade was ordered into the fight. And it really looked like an island in the sough pacific. I think that if the marines pushed hard, they could have made if all the way to West LA. I really wanted to pull an Oedipus after seeing this movie; better to rip my eyes out than to put them through another movie like this.
