Alice is one of the best sitcoms ever! During the flo years, the show was at its best.Unfortunately after that, the show lost big time thanks to some mistakes:Vera getting married to that boring policeman, Jolene. Anyway it was still fun to watch at times, but toward the end of its run, it was clear the show had run out of new plots. Martha Raye was a hoot as Mel's mama. Alice debuted in Italy around I983 and it has been on and off since then. It was last seen last season here but I'm sure it will be back. Never a huge hit here, it has achieved a cult status. Alice was also seen in Germany, France and Turkey a few years back and of course England.
