Big Money Hustlas (2000 Video)
10/10
A great film that took me completely by surprise
4 August 2000
Amazing. Considering the small budget, inexperience of the cast, and the fact that it was the director's debut, this is a masterpiece. I went into it not expecting much, but Big Money Hustlas had me laughing for the entire duration of the film. The comedy starts out fast and furious and never lets go of the viewer. Shaggy 2 Dope is wonderful as Dolamite style supercop Sugar Bear trying to clean up New York, and Violent J is serviceable (if a little too over the top for his own good) as the villain, Big Baby Sweets.

Sometimes the humor gets very raunchy, and the language is always filled with profanity, but the movie never delves so deep into bad taste as to be really offensive. Heck, how offensive can a movie featuring Mick Foley in a guest role be?

ICP fans will enjoy this film the most, but anyone with a taste for really over the top, goofy humor will love it. A film that never takes itself seriously at all, Big Money Hustlas is wonderful fun and a laugh riot.
