This is it. The worse movie ever made. I'm dead serious.
15 April 1999
A 1978 Star Wars clone, shot in videotape and transfered to film, meant to be a comedy for small children - filled with bad chroma key, no plot, no acting, and several minutes of slow motion fighting and reverse shots. This is it, folks, look no further. This is the worse movie ever made.

It is such a challenge to go trough this mess, it barely represents a movie, being more of a audio-visual experiment, and a failed one. Maybe on a different scenario it could be considered a self-indulgent avant gard piece of abstract audio-visual art, but not a movie. No, ladies and gentleman, there's no movie here.

The "Trapalhões" did a lot of bad movies back in the 70s and 80s. The main audience for their "comedy" - and I use this term with caution - were very small children and the uneducated poor people from Brazil, so they never sets their standards too high. They worked with shoestring budgets, which made things worse, in a country and time where movies and filmed entertainment was in its infancy.

But there's no excuse for this. No explanation. An experiment in anti- comedy, an INCREDIBLY slow-paced "film" that serves no purpose. It's hard to find humor in watching this sad and dadaist piece of Brazillian 70s anti-cinema. Avoid it like the plague. I mean it.
