I thought this film was a very sensitive and well done picture. I loved the characters - they were very finely drawn. Helen Hunt was amazing although it did take me a while to get used to her "trailer trash" look. Kevin Spacey - well, he is just wonderful, as are the other actors in the film. The concept "Pay it Foward" is one that we could all apply to our everyday lives with positive results. My only other comment - have tissue handy, you'll need it.
