This was a fairly good Disney film, mainly because of Cuba Gooding. He has some funny lines as the Miami dentist who visits Alaska and inherits some dogs. The landscape is beautiful throughout the movie. (SLIGHT SPOILERS): What I didn't like is how he survives all these impossible situations, such as running from a bear. And sliding down hills while missing all the trees. And then at the end when the dogs pull the sled up when its dangling over a cliff. All of that is silly. I wish they would have made that more realistic because if someone was in that situation, they would have been killed.
When he first encounters the dogs in the house, that is very funny because I could picture that happening. And it is nice to see a comedy for the kids every now and then.
