I'm' surprised that this movie only got a 5.5 when I checked. I rather enjoyed it. It's a movie that you're SUPPOSED to suspend your belief of reality for - not take everything absolutely literally. I mean, it's sort of one of those tongue-in-cheek things - you're just meant to sit back and enjoy it. And I enjoyed it far more than, for example, Austin Powers 2 and 3 - #2 was just survivable but I did not like #3.
I'm certainly not really expecting this movie to get any Oscars - but there's a difference between enjoyment level and art. You can enjoy something without it having to win awards. So my advice: lean back, just relax and let things go!
