Just not all in one flick. "Cradle 2 the Grave" is an energetic stuntfest with Jet Li as a Taiwanese special agent in Los Angeles after some black diamonds on the loose who has to wade through a small army of semi-bad guys, bad guys, bad-bad guys, good-bad guys, and maybe a couple of bad-good guys, I really don't remember. Li plays the strong, silent, and short type. Strong because he does his fighting with one hand in his pocket (hey, why use two when you only need one). Silent because he can't act. And short because, well, he's the shortest person in the film right after the midget. In addition to Li and the bad guys, "Cradle 2..." includes a couple of babes and a cute little girl, a convoluted story which goes unnoticed, and a whole bunch of action stuff with the usual absence of sex and nudity which we seldom see in a Li flick for reasons of karma or something. A slick shoot and hyperkinetic freak show, "Cradle 2...." is almost certain to lower your IQ by 20 points. (B-)
