This was a standard documentary about surfing. By standard I mean the format - interviews interspersed with footage of surfing and voiceover discussion of the sport. This film is only vaguely interesting if you are not a surfer or a surfer fan. It's not badly put together; it's slick and has some nice shots of surfers and the waves, though nothing that had to be seen on the big screen. There are attempts at some points to connect other parts of life to surfing, but those are largely unmemorable. This is not a movie to pay $10 to see in a theater, unless you are "stoked."
