Review of She Spies

She Spies (2002–2004)
What a Disappointment
20 July 2002
AS I write this I am watching this idiocy. I can only assume that this was something that was not going to be picked up by the network and they already had several episodes in the can before the plug was pulled. I thought perhaps this was going to be a little more sophisticated take off of "Charlie's Angels". Instead we horrible slapstick comedy that is not even done well. The closest thing I can compare this thing to is the old campy "Batman" series back in the 1960's and by comparison it was done better. Here we have three women that have been taken out of a federal prison and given the chance to work for the government, think of Robert Wagner, "It's Take a Thief" times 3. From there on it gets about as silly as it can get. Who "Greenlights" this stuff?????? What I am trying to figure out is how they got Natasha Hendridge in this thing. She's a much better actress than this and I know she has had a very busy year with some good projects. This isn't one of them. The network needed some filler and this is it since Saturday night is the worst night for tv anyway. My advice is don't waste your time!!!!!
