This series has just started here in South Africa, and my hubby and I saw the first episode and LOVED it! HOPE-fully it will continue for a LONG time! One question though, please - who plays the role of Jake or Jack - the white-haired old man suffering from Alzheimers in this first episode - at my age (71!) I do sometimes tend to forget names, and this man's face is MADDENINGLY familiar. Where, oh where have we seen him before - please enlighten me before I throw a paper plate at the TV out of sheer frustration!!! At the same time I'd like to know where this series was shot, and this may seem like a stupid question, but is the series based on real life? Thank you for your patience.
