this is a low budget sci fi, action, comedy with Bruce Campbell. by most peoples standards the movie is terrible. bad acting, bad plot, bad dubbing, editing slip ups, bad camera work etc.. but any movie made by the sci fi channel is bad. that is what you should expect. i truly enjoyed this movie. it has a certain quality that cant be reproduced by decent movies.
The story involves evil alien termites that come to earth in the future. they enslave humanity and force everyone to cut down trees and move pieces of wood back and forth into various containers (i was never able to figure what the point of moving the wood was). then a team of astronauts returns from some mission (i never figured out that one either) and its up to them to save the world. the story was meant to be bad. keep that in mind.
if you want a movie you don't have to take very seriously and is very similar to army of darkness then i suggest watching it. if you are looking for a good plot, good acting etc... you are watching the wrong channel.
