Roger and the Rottentrolls was one of the weirdest shows on CITV that I can remember. It always began with a short opening about Merlin trying to create something for King Arthur when he accidentally dropped some strange Norwegian trolls in the valley. These were known as the Rottentrolls. One day a young boy named Roger went into this valley and shouted the words on a rock, "Roger was 'ere". Then he was met by the stupidest Rottentroll of the lot. They made Roger the king of the Rottentrolls. Every episode, narrated by comedian Martin Clunes was just as stupid or annoying as the first. The trolls would get a stupid idea and try to work it out with Roger, or his sister Kate's help. A bit silly, but kids might like it. Okay!
